Our CIC has refused help to the Kurds in the North of the country, who are facing superior firepower and have lost serious ground recently. The Kurds are the last line before Turkey, which I think is the end run for them in this next months. Checkout the Barret 50's and auto grenade launchers. Not standard light arms.

The U.S. has also proven unwilling to arm the Kurds, out of fear that supplying the group could lead to further divisions — and an eventual partitioning — of Iraq.

ISIS, meanwhile, has been able to arm itself with looted military equipment from several Iraqi army bases — much of which was provided to the Iraqi military by the United States.

You realize I hope that in Syria and Iraq and Iran all sides are our enemies? Helping one side will just make the other terrorist that want to kill us. Let Iran fight IS. If they are killing each other maybe they will leave us alone. It's not our fight and they don't have enough oil to fight over.

All of the armed people there would just assume kill us. There is no one there we can count on to be an ally.

Well, thanks for the jolly news, jollyjollyjolly! and, Godammit, those American made Toyotas are everywhere with guns on them, Libya, 'Arab spring' Syria, 'Arab spring' amazing. I take it ISIS have no aircraft as yet, strange that? you would think it a military no-brainer, (see 9/11). Nope, they just want to dander along in Toyotas and shoot the peasants. Does anyone see the strangeness in all this crap?
Why is the UK Government, and most everybody else fumbling over Israel's destruction of Gaza, while Israel's main aim is to close all the tunnels, and that all the civvy's killed in Gaza, is but a distraction. So who the feck is ISIS, ISIS, ISIS?

Yep no doubt they are all major pita's for westerners. We shouldn't be involved but I guess my statement made it sound like that was my ideal, rather it was ment to reflect the story.

Yup of all the news we are getting pumped from the msm here, Nada mentioned about this. The weapons they are using, the tactics. This is serious hardware that's from america they are using. I even suspect they have intel provided by US three letter agencies and backing. The real question is why! I'm all for bombing any looted or gifted american heavy weapons. They could inflict major damage if they make it here. All parties responsible for any weapons transfers to terrorist need to be tried by jury for high crimes and treason.

I'm interested in the hardware they are using. Its american heavy arms. I'm not sure who's what in the video but they are all of concern to me when they have bigger then rpg's and ak's. Especially when our tax dollars have purchased those weapons.

Ok but then your OP doesnt really make sense.

First you say that the Kurds are facing superior firepower and then you show their firepower which actually is superior?

Bit confusing..
