Poke what nest? Last time I checked DC is not part of the Gaza strip. The fact is that people went to support the opposite side of a protest, in our nations capital, and were attacked and had to be removed under guard of police enforcement is unacceptable. Does not that trouble anyone?

Nailed it in one. I agree completely.

What shocks me is how many people seem to think this is okay based on the ASSUMPTION this man went there to intentionally provoke. Maybe he did and maybe he didn't, but does it make okay for others to physically attack this way?

This is disturbing, in many ways. Not the least of which is the reactions here.

Seeing how there were sections set up for the Israeli supporters and the Gaza supporters then why did this guy go and plant himself in the middle of the Gaza protesters. Because he wanted to start trouble. Also when the cops started questioning him he couldn't even keep his story straight. First he said they started it and not even twenty seconds later he said I don't know who started it. How can someone be involved in something like this and not know how it started? Because he is lying to cover his butt. Does it mean it ok for people to get violent no it doesn't but hey this is America we are used to solving our problems with violence.

As far the those thinking the Israel is simply 'bombing schools', you really need to get away from the mainstream media as well as educate yourself to the situation.

I've read enough about history and multiple current informational media sources to know I'd prefer to be the average Joe citizen I am right now in Israel over Gaza any day.
You calling it a fair fight now in the eyes of 'normal' citizens?
Funny how you are bleating about this vet' being outnumbered and overwhelmed in the OP but the many hundreds of dead Gaza folk compared to the handful in Israel doesn't bother you at all?
That says a lot to me.

So, when they showed up the diamond district in NY unnaounced it was ok also, right?

Link

Shop owners come out to the protesters shouting INTIFADA!!! Watch what happens....

No violence from the shop owners...just telling them to leave them alone. That there is no need for them to be where they should not be causing problems. Just like the conflict in the ME right now with Palestine and Israel. SHowing that it is HAMAS, not the Palestinians, who are the problem.

I love NY...

Before the incident, Manny Vega told Breitbart News that he was unafraid of the protestors.

You had me at " Breitbart news".

When the video starts, the vet seems very aggressive and he is in somebody's personal space.
He got what he deserved. Simple.

So you don't believe in freedom of speech?
You think someone deserves to be attacked because of his words?

Nope, you can pick any other example of Muslims being wrong and it still does not change my thoughts that I personally have no desire to wave an Israeli flag right now. That is because I am an average citizen who can see that an average citizen in Gaza faces more risk of death from Israel than an average citizen in Israel faces from Hammas.
Many hundreds compared to a handful.

You didn't answer my question, do you consider it a fair fight, or unfair like the poor vet' you are breaking your heart over in the OP who was outnumbered and overwhelmed?

If HAMAS was not in Gaza this would not be happening. If they were not shooting missiles into Israel none of this would be happening.

Have you ever seen pictures of how beautiful it is in many areas of Palestine or in the past? Nope. Because the MSM simply wants you to think it is a burned up hovel being destroyed by the Zionists. I have close friends from both sides of the borders and conflict. Palestine as a country does not want this but it is being used as a launching platform for terror. It was like this 60-70 years back so it is not all Hamas, they are just the latest to cause strife. Palestine accepted Jews who fled Europe before the Israeli state was recognized.

It takes two to tango as someone else said.

I don't wave an Israeli flag either but he has the same right as the others who were protesting.

This may come as a shock to you but the streets and sidewalks are public property they don't have to announce anything. Like you said people have a right to protest or don't they?

As far as them saying resistance is justified when you are occupied they are right and the UN charter even says that.

That there is no need for them to be where they should not be causing problems.

What problems were they causing? They were just walking down the street chanting they weren't attacking anyone or smashing store windows or anything.

This is why the government needs to abolish the 1st Amendment and incorporate free speech zones.

Each city can have one place where people can be monitored and express their beliefs. For 10 minutes.

It's for the children.
Be compassionate.
If you don't agree, the terrorists win.

US Citizen attacked in front of White House by Palestinian Protestors

Were the protesters not US citizens?

You make it sound like a bunch of "Hamas terrorists" snuck into the country and congregated in front of the White House.

LOL

I don't agree with the aggressive actions of the protesters as it demeans their cause, but as others mentioned, he was asking for it...and he got it.
