Roll your eyes all you want. We have immigrants arriving from Africa every day on boats in Marseille. There is no control system in place at all.
Sick people go to hospitals. These symptoms are typical of much less serious illness- Ebola will not be suspected right away, they will not be quarantined immediately.

Their salva infected dishes go to the kitchen, where water splashes off them and into the faces of the workers.

I for one am sick of people rolling their eyes when I suggest masks.

Ebola is horrible but easily contained in a modern city / country. This hype is ridiculous.

So they say..
What happens if we're using old methods against a new virus?

I know places like Guinea and that have limited facilities, but once medical professionals were sent in with government money they would have had strict protocol and quarantine to treat a very limited number of victims at a time. small, portable pop up incubation devices.. trained professionals who have dealt with viruses for years all seemed to fall sick, i don't think existing procedures are working.

what happens if in 18 days there's 7 other countries in Africa and the middle east reporting 1,2,3 people sick and hospitalized with a yet to be determined virus - all currently waiting tests for Ebola

will you allow people to worry then? do you realize how easily something like this could jump to a scenario like that?

It says in the above link which is THE latest news on the outbreak that it may have spread to Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabian health officials are testing a patient suspected of contracting the deadly Ebola virus as fears grow the disease is starting to spread beyond west Africa.

The Ebola epidemic has so far been contained to west African nations, where almost 900 people have died from more than 1600 confirmed cases.

But Saudi Arabia is now testing samples from a man who recently returned from a business trip to Sierra Leone for suspected Ebola infection, the Health Ministry said.

It said the man, a Saudi in his 40s, was at a hospital in the Red Sea city of Jeddah.

And:

Eight suspected cases of disease in Nigeria. Nigeria officials said a total of 70 people are currently under surveillance
