Israel Using Human Shields

Who is really using human shields? The IDF of course.

I think the most ironic thing about this whole “Hamas uses human shields” allegation, is that the IDF is notorious for using Palestinians as human shields.

This is far from unusual:

Israel has constantly used this allegation not only against civilians in Gaza, but also when it bombed civilian populations in Lebanon during the 2006 war. Witness accounts and international rights organizations have stated time and time again that no evidence to this has been found either in Lebanon or in Gaza.

But somehow, the word of Israel, a country that needs to hire people to spread its propaganda online, still has a shred of credibility.

They should have boycotted israel instead of Russia but hey the world is upside down these days...

Well, this is just sick...

It's becoming hard for me to ignore all this evidences and continue to support Israeli offensive when they do stuff like this.

I will have to re-think this whole situation.

So the unguided rockets hamas is shooting is supposed to be discouraged by human shields?
They don't hit what they are aiming at anyway.
Just point in that general direction and fire,,,
Human shields only work when the guy shooting knows the innocent people are there.

I hope your not bring sarcastic. If your serious in your assessment I hope every member gives you a star and every moderator gives applause. During this whole episode I too have had a change of heart. I will not support the actions of Hamas but I am still strong behind the Palestinians and their right to safety.

That is a kind of a sick statement, you think its ok for the IDF to use Palestinians as human shields? Do you know if these people even done something wrong?

I am serious.

I will never approve this sort of things done by anyone, especially not by Israel who is supposed to be fighting against terrorists, not acting like ones. Even though I really do understand why Israel launched their offensive against Hamas, it seems they push it over the limits. And it's becoming so hard for me to find any logical sense in why they have done certain things and still do.

Just to make it clear, i was never against Palestine, just against Hamas, because like it or not they are a terrorist organization and they should be stopped. But, if killing so many civilians is a cost to it, then find another way.

Well they just gave the next generation motive to be terrorists as well. Even from a purely strategic point of view it is utterly horrible policy. It's just straight up hateful vindictiveness.

So are you gonna provide evidence that they were debunked or is like Israel's policy, where we just have to take your word for it?

Old, maybe, as in Israel seems to have been using human shields long before they claimed Hamas was was doing. I could be wrong but if your going bust in and make a claim like that can you at least enlighten us and show something. That was just a pop shot into thin air. What is the point?

I am not clear how the boy in the 2004 newspaper article is a human shield? The article says he was arrested from a group of kids throwing rocks. Aside from the fact he does not look scared or overly stressed about being stoned to death by accident, wouldn't he only be a shield if his friends were willing to throw rocks at the Israelis right through him? He looks pissed off, not scared.

I don't know about all of them, but a couple of them look like prisoners during a patrol. What are they supposed to do with him if it's a combat patrol and a police car isn't coming into a combat zone to transfer a prisoner to?

Israel is hardly nice to the Palestinians and there is plenty to be upset with. I am just not sure I see the human shield angle here?

The whole thing is JACKED! A total mess, and such pain..
Sadly they are going to fight it out to the bitter end.
Till one side is gone.
It is the only end I see to this. When one side wipes out the other side. Then we will have "peace".
