Israel To Pay Students For Pro-Israeli Social Media Propaganda.

Israel has announced it will pay university students to circulate pro-Israeli information on social media networks, without having to identify themselves as working for the government.

Israel to pay students to defend it online.

JERUSALEM (AP) — Israel is looking to hire university students to post pro-Israel messages on social media networks — without needing to identify themselves as government-linked, officials said Wednesday.

I think this was previously reported by the alternative media during other Israeli offensives.

But this may be the first time its been reported by mainstream sources.

This is how "innocent" and "truthful" the campaign against Palestinians is. A Bunch of Lies, that the World should be a shame of being accomplice. Starting for all of those who stay quiet in there homes, not protesting against them and this shameful media:

If you lived in a country, where 80% of your land was occupied by Zionist, you all would be Hamas.

Palestinians in Gaza don't have electricity and without water by consequence of energy failure.

All Palestinians are Hamas. If I lived there I WOULD BE HAMAS too. I WOULD BE the RESISTANCE AGAINST ZIONISTS TERRORISTS.

Do you think they are not still doing it? I would imagine that they are in overdrive at the moment considering the circumstances.

What is wrong with getting your views out into the world?

Politicians do this all the time, nations do this all the time...it is basic advertising.

Hell, Palestine does this same type of thing.....drawing media attention to their cause. Is everyone allowed to do this except for Israel?

Look at the federal government paying people to make ads for Obamacare.....is that wrong also?

So what if Israel want's to spread their point of view.

Why is that?

Is Coca-Cola a bad product because they have to pay people to advertise their product?

Israel is trying to get their message out so are ensuring that people spread the message. How do you think campaigns work? Are the democrats or republicans bad because they spend money on people to spread good things about them or is it how the game is actually played?

Yes it is totally a bad product, that stuff rots your inside out and is probably one of the main causes of obesity and diabetes in the world. They pay people to help the world's population forget about that.

As for the rest of it do you think that it is ok to pay people to justify killings of women and children?

Yes the israelis and their cohorts are out there spreading lies online in forums, but the cannot possibly be here on ATS as we have a new rule in the T$C that forbids it.
I'm pretty sure that the machine is on fire by this point trying to make the murder of innocents look just fine.
With the propaganda, AIPAC and dual citizen lawmakers, what could israel have to fear.
..Truth is what they have to fear.
But don't worry ATS, it is safe here!

Sometimes Israel is the worst enemy Israel could ask for.

Does it not occur to them when something like this is posted, a good message sells itself and doesn't need a check to say?

What it sounds like they want are people similar to others here who see the good things in that nation but with the power to shut down any balance to also talk about what is not so good. That is how it comes off, and that has to be self defeating.

Lies you say ?!

Gaza's only power plant destroyed in Israel's most intense air strike yet

Let's quote the article for you:

"The power plant is finished," said its director, Mohammed al-Sharif, signalling a new crisis for Gaza's 1.8 million people, who were already enduring power cuts of more than 20 hours a day.

"We need at least one year to repair the power plant, the turbines, the fuel tanks and the control room," said Fathi Sheik Khalil of the Gaza energy authority. "Everything was burned."

Gaza City officials said damage to the power station could paralyse pumps and urged residents to ration water.

Do you know that water to be distributed needs energy for caption, treatment and pumping to reservoirs for further distribution?

EDIT:
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights

She also criticized Israel's strikes on Gaza's power plant, sewer systems and water wells as part of a similar pattern of destruction during the 2009 Gaza war.

Lies you say?!?

Let me re-write some of your arguments for you, just to see if it makes sense:

"Israelis have every luxury one could imagine.

Israelis take all the money and foreign aid for themselves

Israelis perpetuate the violence that enables the conditions there"

makes sense to me..

Israel would be pennyless had it not been for charity;

We don't pay them charity though, it feels more like we are paying some kind of perverted ransom...

A spokesman for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which provides aid to Palestinians in Gaza, broke down in tears during a TV interview in the aftermath of Wednesday’s fatal attack on a UN-run school, used as shelter.

“There are times when tears speak more eloquently than words. Mine pale into insignificance compared with Gaza's,” Gunness said, as cited by Reuters.

Children killed in their sleep; this is an affront to all of us, a source of universal shame,” the statement read.
