I disagree. Even the bible says that people will not recognize him for such.

It speaks of all the world wondering after the beast and worshipping him and him deceiving them with fire coming down out of the sky.

It seems that many will be fooled.

Just because he will be marked for recognition by some doesn't mean that it will "clear as bell." That makes the assumption that you or I or anyone here will be in the group that easily will read these signs. That's an easy assumption to make and one we all desperately want to make because the alternative is unthinkable for any person of faith.

Now... who the elect is, is anyone's guess. My thinking is they will be scattered individuals and no single group (ie: it wont be shia, or christian or mormon etc) but it might be one of each or something... individual people who are on the right path, and right with God, regardless of where they are...

You know.... I cannot say I am "one of the elect" and to be honest, if someone did say this to me, I would probably laugh... we all do our best, according to our best ability, but who can claim to be in absolute truth, in all honesty?

Who will claim to be the elect of God? In all seriousness?

I agree with you to a point FF, where I diverge from you, on the topic of al-baghdadi, is that it is possible he is the one who makes all wonder after the beast....and bow down to it.

What is the result of al-baghdadi's actions, and you will get the gist of what I am trying to say. The false prophet, just might not have the appearance of being a false prophet at all... but the appearance of an enemy, which causes all, free and slave, to bow down to the beast.

I'm not sure who this guy is. I haven't seen enough of him to get a sense of him.

He may be a horseman. He may be the head of the Black Army preparing the way for the Mahdi. Those two may be one and the same.

But you can't say for certain that he isn't the beast just because not all the world has fallen down before him yet. We've seen ... two pictures and a brief video of him?

I do find it disturbing that we apparently have someone who can put Sunni, Shia, Christian, and any other religious group in the area to the sword quite openly and detonate important mosques and churches of all groups and detonate shrines and threaten the Ka-aba and still have someone who pulls in recruits.

Doesn't that strike you as interesting?

The picture of this Sultan the 99th caliph have a resemblance to the guy we are talking about here. Look at the noses on both.

Don't worry I'm not saying I'm right... It's just a weird feeling I've had that I cannot shake, so I decided to let it have voice.

The first beast of revelation is the beast With 7 heads, ten horns, and ten Crowns. This beast will recive a Deadly wond.

Read revelation 13, verse 12.

11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

So the Papal See (the Pope) is not the one who recieves the Deadly wond. It is the whole beast described in revelation 13,1.

This is the beast With the human number 666:

11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

This beast is the same beast as described in revelation 13 verse 11 to 18.

The second beast is not Obama. The New beast is the eighth and is of the seven heads of the first beast.

12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

Verse 13.

These ten kings shall receive Power as kings for one hour With the beast (the beast is us, the People). These ten kings have one mind. We will all have the same mind as these ten kings. We are the once wo will cause all this evil described in revelation.

The once who dont have the same mind as the beast will all die.

I thought this at first, but the only drastic difference I can see (that couldn't be attributed to 10 years of aging) is the difference in his beard, specifically directly between his lower lip and chin. The younger picture the hair there is sparse, in the '10 years later' pic the hair is very full and thick. Also the older picture the eyebrows seem fuller and longer, but that could be from aging, or simply because of perspective/resolution of the photos.

My beard has grown patchy my whole life, and the patchiness hasn't really gone away lol...I guess that's what I'm basing my assumption on.

Also, as many pther posters have mentioned...hasn't the world been about to end for some reason or another for decades?

Eyebrows are totally different. Now I guess that could be by design, but I really don't see the resemblance.

Perhaps we should remember that a) no two individuals can even agree on who/what/when/where regarding "the Antichrist" ... and that b) for over half the world's population, the various Judeo-Christian-Islamist mythologies have no meaning nor validity whatsoever.

Fear the real people in this world that want to enslave your minds not the equivalent of the Tooth Fairy on Fear-porn Steroids that is "the Antichrist."

I stand by this. It's too much of a coincidence. Maybe all the facts aren't correct, but enough evidence points to my initial statement.

I really dosent matter if People can agree or not. Who the antichrist is, is written in the Bible. The Bible describes who it is.
It is normal for People to preceive what they read differently. Therefor assuming different theories.

The Bible even tells us that not everyone are supposed to understand it eihter. If everyone knew who and what the beast is. Gods Word would not come true. Only the once who are written in the book of life will understand this. And they are not in majority compared to the once who are not written in the book of life. Becuase if they were there would not be a beast.
