can you give me a link to this? I am really looking for anything to explain this away.

I got little from my Psych book and couple of articles I have read long time ago.

I dont' really know where the latter is, so sorry.

If you really want an answer, buy some books out of half or amazon and get an answer from the experts, but remember they will be biased, some will argue from science view and others from the other view. Remember to read both.

the funny thing is I've been surfing the web for about an hour now and can't find squat in regards to any scientific data as to why this would occur.
But.......I must have found 30000000000 (a little exaggerated) sites containing info on how premonitions are excepted in todays scientific community.

what is funny about the whole thing is every website I visit has the same quote from the 30000000000 previous.
So much for the web.

I think I'm going book hunting.

And I will try to sort through the fact and fiction part of this. Thanks for responding back and giving me some info. Appreciate it.

Today I had a massive DeJaVU, the whole film playin out in your mind type thing not just the feeling, although a get frequent de ja vu, and will remain skeptical until proven otherewise as I am with everything. NOrmally I tell soemone if someones around " de ja vu" but this time, as extreme ( to the point that I felt the knowledge of what was going to happen next, moment for mement within the 30 seconds) I just sat amazed, then quickly followed with my usual psychological explanations as to what it actually probably was.....

and what did you think it was? How do you explain it away?

Ive heard tones of logical theories as to what causes it, but pasychologist are still far from sure... I have unfortuantly had these dream de ja vus beforewhere it comes true either the next day or later on, and told someone boaut the events with detail, just as though I were tellin em about my dream, then the event took place that day... it was a trip... Doenst happen that often, but I dont see much point in putting too much thought into it... if anything it will just backtrack me. let it slide bro, I find it comes in perdiods, especially if you have you mind open to it...

Hmm. Interesting, let me use my top secret inside sources (google and ask) to find a little to support my claim.

Guess what my top secret sources led me too

people.howstuffworks.com...

Several psychoanalysts attribute dj vu to simple fantasy or wish fulfillment, while some psychiatrists ascribe it to a mismatching in the brain that causes the brain to mistake the present for the past.

This was the brain firings I was talking about.

Let me find my pysch book.

Thank you for the link. I did google(honestly) and couldn't find anything.

Well, I guess when I'm done I'll be either the most educated person on why premonitions are real, or why they are fake. Either way I'll have my answer.

Thanks for all your help.

I've asked a mod to close this thread. I want to find out the answer for myself by looking at the facts.

Thanks a bunch everyone,

Just be very aware. Watch carfuly and try not to 'think' - let it happen and don't get so absorbed that you can't see clearly. Start writing things down. And the things tat stand out most - even if it's the gravel at your feet - write it down and go back later.
