According to Forbes the listed 185 families have a combined wealth of 1.2 Trillion dollars.

Walton family heads the list at $152 billion.

Please take a moment.... the bottom of the list at a meagre $1 billion dollars goes to.... the Cadieux family.

Betcha the Cadieux family don't get asked to the Walton's for drinks and a barbie. that would be slumming it.

Lets all send out 185 begging letters and see how many replies we get. none, ziltch, nada

You can view the complete list in the link provided

Apparently the older folk in the family do, the younger ones sh*t silver.
It has been tried and tested over many years.

On topic: The Butt were known to be bullied in school by the Fitzpatricks.

They forgot my family! We are rich in love and happin....

Crap. Never mind. I can't even fake it anymore.

But seriously... Butt family?? They better be glad they were rich or they would have been the butt of so many jokes. It might have made them quite anal when they grew up. I bet they could have made it to #2 had they tried hard enough. Ah well... We all fall through the cracks at one point or another.

Some math whiz should add up the number of family members total and compare that to the total wealth...a sort of billionaire average .....

Good idea, I'm onto it.

Better idea, I'll take the first 10 families and do a count on them, you take the other 175 families.

We can cross check our findings at five past on any Tuesday.

What say you stirling, you up for the challenge.

Forbes will never list the actual wealthiest people/families. I believe once they did list one of them by mistake and were told immediately to remove them from the list, which they did. There are some internet articles on it.

For those people, it is above money and wealth.

I hope I reincarnate back into one of these rich families so that I can LOL at you all when driving by in my Lamborghini.

Seriously, these people..........how do they live with themselves knowing how many people are struggling in the world?

And as stated by other posters, many are missing on this list. Those are the ones you wanna find out about.

There are definitely some names you would expect to see on the list that aren't there, as someone pointed out they may have asked to be excluded from the list.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Walton's, heading up the top of the list at $152 billion...Wal-mart, this is the crowd that's paying their workers minimum wage.

Do their workers get a yearly bonus?

I mean how much wealth do they need.... I want it all, I want it all, and I want it now. (Queen)

Actually, if their store meets it's goals the employees get quarterly bonuses. They also get a discount on food during holidays (I think 10% - don't quote me on that) and if you've been there a few years you get two weeks paid vacation. A few years longer than that and you get three weeks. Profit sharing and up to 6% 401K matching.

I do agree that people making 152 billion a year could find some things to do with that much money. Look at bill gates for instance. He does some rather controversial things with his money but bottom end Microsoft store employees don't make much more than average WalMart employees. I answered all this even though it's like totally off topic. But I didn't wanna leave you hanging.

So you think billionaires handing these people money would solve their problems? Just google lottery winners that lost it all...

NO NO NO!! It's not about giving money away. It's about overcharging in the first place and taking peoples money. They'd have their own money had it not been scammed through interest and high inflation.

Interest you blame on the Fed and the banks, high inflation is government with bad policy, and over spending.
