Snowdens' Russian Asylum To End.

I would like to see him in Berlin, Germany. Now that would be a kick in the teeth for the USA and a sweetener for improved German-Russian relations too - especially now they have that peace deal being negotiated concerning the annexation of Crimea by Russia, and Ukrainian gas supply, political relations, and debt.

Merkel would use Snowden in ways Putin would find difficult to do - simply coz he's Russian and she's German (thus she's an insider more-or-less able to do more damage to America).

Plus, should anything bad happen to Snowden while he is in Germany... well that would reflect very badly on Merkel and Germany.

It's been really quiet. The most recent news is that he's waiting on approval, but I haven't heard anything more. Has anyone heard anything new?
