Although I come from a Christian perspective, I feel deep respect to what Buddhism has contributed to the spiritual advance of Humanity

Video is very interesting but found a number of disturbing articles of violence by him and his followers against some females. Really don't know what to make of it all.

Sorry for asking this...don't mean to derail the thread...but how do you reconcile these two ?
Buddism claims no gods but yourself...and despite some similarities in the teachings, the core belief is vastly different. Surely you can't believe in both...either there is a God or we are all gods (which christianity explicitly disagrees with).
Thanks.

Not sure how angel of light see's it but perhaps each religion shares the same trinity:
dharmakaya, sambhogakaya, nirmanakaya = Brahman, Atman, Shakti = Father, Son, Holy Ghost.

And here I though it was in Buddhism and Hinduism that: there is only one thing that exists and we are all parts of that thing ..

Scary. He might not have as much control over the self/ego if that is true. But then there are nasty things you have to deal with when you have an opened third eye that cannot be turned off like some people can. One of the reasons being psychic and having greater understanding can be a double edged sword.
And here I though it was in Buddhism and Hinduism that: there is only one thing that exists and we are all parts of that thing and can connect to that thing on different level and that duality is an illusion of the temporary separate mind/ego.
dharmakaya, sambhogakaya, nirmanakaya = Brahman, Atman, Shakti
There are inherent and fundamental differences between Buddhism and Christianity, one significant element being that while Christianity is at its core monotheistic and relies on a God as a Creator, Buddhism is generally non-theistic and rejects the notion of a Creator God which provides divine values for the world.[4]
