Israel is the Jewish ancient homeland.
The people there were offered a nation state of Palestine but they refused to also accept a nation state of Israel. They attacked the day they both were given territories to drive out the Israelis but they lost the war.
Winning a war wins land and is the only real legitimizer of who claims what when.
Don't like the way the world works, win a war, make peace with your conquerers or move to Mars.
