The Son of Man - My Poem

The Son of Man

Hating hatred lead me into destruction
For I did not know whom were evil and good.
I was innocent as a lamb and slaughtered by the
shields of men whom are as darkness is to light
Then I became resurrected after learning to hate.
To hate the world as Jesus said and to pick up my cross and forgive.
To forgive what taught me to hate. To forgive my brother for his sins.
Since we were divided and caused to feud by Jesus, in his spoken words.
Now I hate the world as I am still hated by the world.
But now I know evil best and the world noticeable to me is weak.
Their false shields no longer inflict.
I’ve learned that they project enemies that do not exist.
Their shields no longer able, a means to psychologically protect only themselves.
I’ve become a son of glory with pure shields and armor and a brother to Christ
and among the comforters he sent, the Sons of Men.

I really like what you are saying a lot! I'm not sure about the style, but that's just my taste. This hit home for me though, and that's what matters.
