Doom Porn - Oct 4 & Oct 5 - "Hundreds of Terrorist Attacks Across USA"

According to Dr. Jim Garrow, via the Steve Quayle website, the USA is going to get nailed by hundreds of terrorist attacks in shopping malls across the USA. Okay ... both of these VERY annoying guys have a history of getting everything wrong. So on October 6th, when nothing has happened, I'll enjoy pointing my finger at them. If, by any strange chance, something does happen and this guy is right ... then I'll post an apology here on this thread (assuming the internet doesn't go down because of all the terrorist attacks)

the target will be shopping malls. The method will be with explosive devices meant to inflict suffering and death and to wound as many as possible. This is terrorism in its lowest form. The purpose is to inflict fear in the hearts of Americans through this targeting of where we go to shop and relax.

The date will be a significant one for the islamists. The event will happen simultaneously across America at hundreds of locations (note the number). The police, DHS, and security services throughout the nation should be warned and take appropriate action.

Every year there is a prediction of shopping malls being attacked in october...im not kidding...every year. Its that location...and that month. I predict we will see a big holiday in December!

A truly remarkable and wonderful thread for ATS. A new first, I think. Just what we need another worthless bunch of prediction crap that YOU don't even subscribe to yourself but push it on us anyway. Being forthright with threads is going to get me banned from ATS one of these days, but so be it.

Seriously .. unless you've got little kids and you need to go to a ToysRus or something for stocking stuffers ... online shopping is easier and it's quicker and there are less holiday germs and grumpy people to deal with.

You don't understand the essence of a 'doom porn' thread.

Doom Porn ... crap that people put out predicting horrid things will happen that will doom us all .... crap that won't happen and we know it. So in keeping with 'deny ignorance', we 'doom porners' all gather round and watch those who make these predictions ... we watch them FAIL. And we keep track of them so if anyone posts stuff from these people in a serious manner, we can immediately identify them as hoaxes.

There is purpose to all this.

1 - Fun as we drive by the car wreck and take a look.
2 - ID hoaxers and fakes for future reference.

We are now on 'failure watch' for Oct 4 & 5.

ETA ... I should state that I'm very excited to watch this one fail. I'm looking forward to pointing my finger at Steve Quayle and pronouncing yet another error in judgement that he's made.

Well, thank goodness almost everyone does nothing in early Oct outside of home.

For most: too early to Christmas shop, best time to do yard work because weather is great for it.

I've found that its' the cheapest time to travel because no one goes out.

We do some "hopping" "standby" on airlines in October and it's always smooth sailing.

Aside: might as well have someone post it who doesn't believe it rather than someone who is scared witless and screams "hide hide".

Yes, you'd think that terrorists would hit shopping malls in December during the high volume shopping months and not early October when everyone is in school and outside still enjoying the nice weather. At least Flyers made the post to highlight what a load of BS these predictions are, which is a contrast to the other types of posters who rush to make new topics about them as if they were fact.

Which is what a 'doom porn' thread is for ... and that's why people put 'doom porn' in the title of the thread. It's a clue that there is a prediction made and that it's most likely absurd. We can make note of them as they fail and have a record of hoaxers and fakes for future reference.

This is the first time I'm hearing of this Dr. Garrow fella. I can't remember anything about him before but it looks like he has a long history of getting things wrong. We now have a prediction made by him that we can be on 'failure watch' for. (And we can have fun watching it not happen).

I'm sure that there is a psychological boost to those who see 'doom porn' for what it is. There is a boost to the ego when the doom porn fails and people can say 'I told you so'. Sure. Most likely. That's natural. But so what? The ESSENCE of a doom porn thread is to call out the fakes and make note of them for future discussion. So far, no doom porn thread has ever come to fruition. Not a single one.

Yep. That's why on October 6th, when this Dr. Garrow prophecy doesn't happen, I'd like to see something official here about putting Quayle info in the same hoax bin as Sorcha Faal stuff. Quayle didn't make this 'prophecy', but he's a promoter of it at his site. So maybe we can get him downgraded here to hoax status. Maybe. At the very least this 'failure watch' will help others know not to trust his website. So making people aware of this is a good thing.
