Thanks for taking the time to read and sorry for the late response. Nephalim might have summed it up best as "A prayer." My wife is visited a lot by
crows, or at least she notices them around a lot. And after having lunch with her one day it was pouring down rain on my drive back to work. Right
before I got back to the office the rain stopped and the sun came out, and I noticed a crow on top of the building when I was walking back in. I
started thinking of this poem, so that's how the idea came. It sort of wrote itself after the first few lines.
