I have always found that so strange. One would think all the Arab nations would jump on the opportunity to use the guise of 'Defending Palestine' to wipe Israel off the map.

Do you realize how utterly stupid the "even Arabs don't care about Palestinians" line is? For one thing it isn't true, plenty of Muslims care... more importantly than a religion or nationality or culture of people caring however, is that a lot of HUMANS care.

Your attempt to dehumanize Palestinians even further by stating 'their own kind' doesn't even want them.... is butt ass nakedly clear.

Hamas is committing crimes by placing their rockets near or in populated areas...next to schools, in hospitals.That should be investigated.

If Hamas doesn't want civvies killed, stop using them as human shields. But they do it so that they can then say..."Look! Look! Israel is targeting our children...and or sick...Help us please..."

And that is exactly what they are doing.

Hamas operates in a very dense location...AKA the Gaza Strip. Where else are they going to put rockets?

As for the human shields thing. Yeah, some people may be being used as 'martyrs', but overall, the human shield excuse is weak when you look at the size of Gaza, and see that 1.8 million people live in it. The place is dense, and you are bound to kill civilians if you are not careful.

Yes, Hamas is violating the law when they place rockets and the like in schools and hospitals. But Israel is also committing crimes when they knowingly bomb civilians areas in the hopes of hitting targets which may or may not even be located in a specific area at the time of the operation. Just recently, they bombed a hospital and claimed they done so because of Hamas activity...you don't just bomb a hospital. That's low, even if there are terrorists hiding out there.

All they are doing is humoring us... If anything, when they DON'T charge Israel for any war crimes, it will only help justify the atrocities which they committed. Win Win for Israel though... 3 or 4 more of these and it will be mission accomplished for them, as the frogs finally boiled to death in the hot water...

Because maybe just maybe they aren't so gunho about destroying Israel as the talking heads on the msm would lead you to believe.

I doubt if anything will come out of this anyway. Israel has a lot of pull in the US. They have always been traders, structuring trade all over the world. Jewish people have a lot of influence in the US because of this. Even though they are not the dominant force behind this as much anymore they are still involved and still have a lot of input.

I think that a lot of that thought goes back to the Black September group - More Here - A Palestinian group having ties to Arafat and that was violent. It got kicked out of Jordan and Syria. Jordan has since then opened it's borders up really wide to Palestinians. They do a very good job of helping them while at the same time not losing their Jordanian identity and security.

Why not just stop killing each other? Isn't killing your brother and sister human beings the definition of insanity?

Why so downtrodden folks?
If the UN can establish a cease fire this is a good thing, even if only for a short while.
If one can avoid their child's murder for just a few hours more, most parents would choose the few hours.
The UN could investigate israel for murder and they could also investigate hamas for attempted murder, both very serious charges.

The problem is that Hamas is not recognized as the legitimate governing body of Palestine, the PLO (Fatah) assumes that role. Hamas is considered a terrorist regime by members of the UN.

Therefore, Israel will bare the brunt of scrutiny, as per usual.

Blatant lie. I can assure you that all Arab and/or Muslim countries care deeply about the Palestinian cause.
If you're talking about heads of states of course they don't care they're paid off by the west, but the Arabs in the majority want to see palestine freed from the oppression of the Zionists.
Any humans should care about the oppressed Palestinians, and if you have a heart you also should care about any injustice on our planet.

Its all smoke and mirrors, israel needs to clear land for more condos, easier this way than just plain coming out and saying we need more land so we are taking it.

This is the SAME U.N. who recently (and for the second time this week) discovered Hamas had been hiding dozens of rockets in a U.N.-owned school...and promptly returned the munitions to Hamas...so they could still be used against Israel.

As we noted yesterday, U.N.R.W.A. came under fire last week not only after rockets were discovered in a vacant school, but also as its critics accused the agency of turning the rockets over to "local authorities," which in Hamas-run Gaza, could mean the rockets went right back into circulation.

U.N.R.W.A. did not immediately return a request for comment.

You know why there haven't been more? Because of the fence people are so up in arms about.

They didn't put that up to be jerks. They put it up to stem the tide of RADICAL Muslim people blowing themselves up in populated areas....

How is it not the same? How is a children's show teaching kids to kill all Jews not radical?
