Your claim CNN doesn't have any coverage of it is incorrect - as you say: "Sure enough, after looking at their home site and their world site, not one mention of it. Not one." The above links would indicate otherwise.

The media takes great pains not to report on the Muslim unrest that breaks out from time to time in Europe, and if they do report on it, they only talk about "youths" much like they refer to the young blacks who rove around in gangs causing mayhem in American cities.
Remember, the media narrative is that Islam is exclusively the religion of peace, and this sort of thing contradicts that image.
Which, hypocritically enough, also links to plenty of celebrity news and fluff pieces.
The Drudge Report is an American news aggregation website. Run by Matt Drudge with the help of Joseph Curl[2] and Charles Hurt,[3] the site consists mainly of links to stories from the United States and international mainstream media about politics, entertainment, and current events as well as links to many columnists. Viewpoints expressed on the website are often considered conservative.

I see that too. I wasn't taking sides in this case, just pointing out the coverage is there. Haaretz is covering these protests in a negative light, as they are an Israeli publication which is their prerogative.
Another contention I have with this post is to denigrate CNN for having celebrity-related stories on its homepage. Yet, Haaretz does as well. Case in point, from Haaretz's front page:
I don't care if you like or dislike CNN, but to complain about their front page having celebs and comparing to a site you apparently approve of, which also has celebrity coverage on it's front page doesn't seem like a legitimate complaint.
And Drudge? They don't have reporters, they just connect to other sites. They are a news aggregator. They had zero reporters covering these protests, CNN at least had some bodies there, their iReports are all from people at the scene. Drudge just links to other people's content, as from their wiki profile:

But to say I'm being hypercritical of CNN is a little outrageous. We all know that the MSM censors via blatant obfuscation.

You say "We all know that the MSM censors via blatant obfuscation," yet the primary source for reports regarding this protest is Reuters, which is the MSM. If they didn't want it covered, they wouldn't have covered it. CNN covered it as well, if they didn't want you to know about it, they wouldn't have put the reports out there.
What other media sites do with those reports is up to them - Haaretz spun it in an anti-Muslim way. Drudge spun it in an anti-Israel way.
Reuters and CNN did at least have people there and covered it. Maybe the type of coverage they gave it was not to your liking?
Pro-Palestinian protesters clash with police in Paris
I think Reuters and CNN kept it fairly neutral. Haaretz and Drudge added spin.

CNN and others are bought and payed for by other countries, So they don't broadcast anything that can make a country look too bad.
Drudge on the other had, I have no clue about. Is it privately owned?

Thank you. I wonder if he makes a lot of $$ or enemies by having this site...but all in all at least he is giving the right kind of news to the world and those who seek it.

You sure the thought that Muslims are the same as everyother world religion, with some extremists and some peacful while the grand majority is in the middle and just cares about taking care of they're kids, doesn't blow up your all Muslims are all evil opponents of Christianity narrative?

Oh, I understand there are many who take no part, but Europe has a problem with young Muslim men the same way we have a problem with young black men.
Don't try to deny it. It's one of those ugly truths. They are disaffected and often out of work and behave in a similar manner.
The big difference between the two groups is that one is triggered by racial animus and the other is triggered by matters pertaining to their faith.
