The tribal art and traditions of Baster tribal region has them standing around 10 feet tall.

Maybe just giant stick insects, nothing to see, move on...

If nobody has actually seen an alien in person, other than fictional pictures on TV, how can we know what an alien looks like. Maybe the house cats are actually alien settlers that watch after us.

I wonder where the original idea of what an alien looks like came from? Is it all Hollywood?

Well from what I can find they officially say

Gotitola: This site is located about 11 km on the way of Charama-Kanker road. Ancient figures are depicted in a place named Sitaramguda in Madhubanpara. Here figures are related to History of Goddess RAM.

Rock art is so interesting. Some from the are show very good realistic animals but we have to be guessing when we decide what they depict. Some could even be child drawings.

I like this one from another Indian site maybe near this one, so many UFO's have been witnessed taking deer.

Great find! Very interesting.

S&F OP.

I find it very funny. Oh, that's just people, or elders, or something. Could be... or it could be aliens to.

We have reports of UFO's and Aliens, and things that go bump in the night to this very day, and going back thousands upon thousands of years... but oh - no - the people of the ancient past couldn't have been experiencing and drawing what they experienced! They didn't have Star Trek, right? Their legends passed down from elder to people for generations - and the Rohela people - just fiction, right? A grand story to tell people before bed time and discourage wandering in the open at night time? Plausible.

Everyone is entitled to their own personal world view. If you can't entertain the possibility. Carry on. It's no skin off anyone's back, if someone doesn't believe aliens have possibly been tinkering with us humans for ages. But I like contemplating the possibility, as I've had experiences that have caused me to consider it, and that is okay to. It adds variety to life.

If you respond to a thread on a subject I would say you are fixating on it.

Personally I like to see the positive and negative views on any subject but I like to see those views given politely for everyone to think over.

Well we do have to take into account that thousands say they HAVE seen them. Maybe they are all lying or having mental health problems but we can't write off all their stories. There are many different descriptions to be sure and if even a handful are true there are numerous being who either live here with us or visit regularly for seeming a variety of purposes.

hear read just say the top one here, these have been well researched.
The Reed story ends with mysterious deaths so i find it interesting.

But is this what the aliens actually look like or is it how we interpret what we see? Well, I suppose that applies to everything we see anyway...so just don't pay attention to my thoughts. Now to check out your site.

Why are they approaching NASA and ISRO for information about these rock formations?

Does NASA and ISRO have the leading authority over matters concerning UFO and Aliens? News to me. I though they flat out deny knowledge of intelligent alien (ie. not human) life existing elsewhere in the Universe, in or around our biosphere.

So why NASA and ISRO?

Hey, what DO aliens look like anyway?

Even if it is pictures of aliens, why consult NASA??? What possible good could that do? NASA categorically deny intelligent life has ever visited Earth.

Miss quote I think don't see a mention of NASA.

Well it is not NASA but close I guess.

The bottom picture in that image is one of the best detailed pictures I have ever seen in relation to what we see in movies and sketches from contactees.

Notice how the above picture has knees, bent on an angle and the one picture below appears to have none, or at least not the same structure.

Really is an amazing picture, the detail with the the facial features is uncanny, its almost like its too legit to be real.

Thanks for sharing

That is a good point. Even if aliens are really here, all we have to go on is our imaginations because we have no clue about them. Here we have paintings and they are aliens because they look like the aliens in our imaginations.

Hollywood aliens are based off of someone's imagination to begin with. Those images fuel more imaginations which are fed back to the Hollywood aliens. With the aid of the internet, imagination is indistinguishable from reality for some

If there are advanced space fairing aliens in the galaxy it is almost certain that Earth would have been visited at some point in its past and future.

The actual article does not seem to mention NASA unless i missed it, but it seems they help find ancient cities and such. it seems they found an ancient city in the same place as these drawings last year it is in an archaeology magazine.

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scientist P.S. Thakkar will tell you, is a 4 sq km town buried deep beneath the surface, forgotten by mankind for thousands of years.

I hate to be a downer but I think you are seeing the spots where the picture is missing as eyes and such, this could well be a person with feather or other dangling earrings.

The strangely carved figures are seen holding weapon-like objects and do not have clear features. Specially, the nose and mouth are missing.

Hollywood aliens are based off of someone's imagination to begin

If you have done any reading about the alien situation you would know that many believe the Movies and Tv are based on real things in many cases. There is the story of Eisenhower making an agreement with them long ago and many other stories that say they have been kept secret but world governments deal with them regularly.

While it's no surprise that these can be easily and reasonably interpreted as pictures of ETs, the source represents this as a foregone conclusion but there is another equally valid explanation.

Anyone with a knowledge of entheogens, especially of the the more "cosmic" variety will be familiar with such images. IIRC Psilocybe Cubensis is pretty common around there and grows in cow dung - Terence Mckenna wrote a fair bit about this (as well as documenting the entities he met while experimenting) and goes as far as suggesting that the reverence for the Cow in Hinduism may have it's earliest roots in thanking the cow for providing the Fungi.

Food for thought, amongst other things
