The horrible humiliation that Brazil experienced in the stadium of Belo Horizonte just days ago, when they were beaten by Germany 7-1, is emerging as a tremendous bad sign that opens the possibility that Brazil can't be on time to celebrate the next summer Olympic and Paralympic games.

How do you work that one out? are you saying that out of a nation of approximately 200,000,000 people, they can't possibly select a squad to represent the country at the Olympics?

The Olympics will go on in Bazil as they are to far along to go any place else. And on top of that Brazil is hardly the only country that has troubles both Greece and Russia were literally put it together at the very last moments and managed to get it done. Brazil is just as capable as both those nations. And soccer has nothing to do with it.

What a miserable and overly dramatic topic again. They lost a football match in a high scoring game, get over it.
I have no real intention to entertain such lame emotional drama anymore so I shall leave now with my own prediction that the Brazilians will pull it off just in time, everything in the Olympics will go pretty much OK, except perhaps a Brazilian athlete will do particularly badly in one event, then the Angel of light will post stuff that you would expect from an angel of bitterness.

Well, just in the twenty century we saw various Olympic games cancelled by war, that happened for the ones that were going to be celebrated in Berlin, Germany in 1916, Tokyo, Japan in 1940 and in London, England, in 1944.

Honestly and without any exaggeration if there has been an epoch in the post war time that appears to be the most likely to have another mega international conflict emerging without control is precisely this one.

Right now we have a so grave crisis in Middle east that there has been a ban to the flights going and coming to and from Israel, a Civil war that does not look to stop at all but to be every time more complicate in Syria and Iraq, plus a crisis in Ukraine that now is not only a domestic issue or a problem in between that country and Russia, but an international one with the downing of the Malaysian airlines flight crowed of Europeans and with some Americans.

If WWIII exploits as the consequence of all those tensions we are going to see by sure cancellation of the next Olympia.

At the end of January of this year a very bad Omen concerning the World Peace occurred in the Vatican city, a really surrealist one, something that looks as it might be extracted of the books of Nostradamus. Today the curse that is surrounding the stability of Brazil and that will affect so much the possibilities of this country to celebrate successfully the next Olympia, in just two years, has turned in to a national nightmare, when one of the principal Candidates to the Presidential election , Eduardo Campos , an opposition leader, has died in what looks to be an unfortunate accident , but that promise to be a huge issue for the government of President Dilma Rousseff.

When there is a death of an opposition figure of the characteristics this represents it is always a challenge to the Political status quo of a country, since no doubt there would be suspicions and possible even accusations launched to the Government of either a possible involvement in a plot behind the Accident, as possible cover up of a plot to eliminate opponents, or for the lack of measures of security that are also responsibility of who is in the power, to must guarantee the normal performance of free elections in a climate of governability.

If President Rousseff become splashed by a political scandal at this point of her reelection campaign chances are that she can't be successful on it and since she is who is really compromised to assure the celebration of the Olympic games of 2016 is really probable that a new Government can move Brazil away of such International compromise.

The markets responded immediately to the news, since the time of President Rousseff in power has been of stagnation in all the sectors of economy and a possibility of political change was expected by many investors.

The news from Brazil are now flowing at incredible pace overflowed by all the speculations of possible consequences in the Political arena from the death of Eduardo Campos who was nominated by the Socialist Brazilian Party, represented a real fracture in the government coalition that supported President Dilma Rousseff.

If there is somebody that could be severely affected by the death of Campos is precisely the incumbent President since this candidate was challenging her reelection ambitions, and the mystery of this tragedy can damage politically her image.

What can be outcome still remains undefined, but if somebody link this apparent accident with the campaign of Rousseff this can turn upside down all the politics in a way can change dramatically all the trends showed until now for the next Presidential election.

The mysterious death of Campos makes easier for Senator Aecio Neves to try to join all the opposition , from the left and the right, around him and against President Rousseff.

It is time to update the advance in the causal line that I felt about a year ago, when I foresaw serious inconvenient factors that can jeopardize the Olympic games of Rio de Janeiro.

Today the news are showing that there is a general concern on the so bad conditions of environmental conditions in the city, in particular, the terrible levels of pollution of the waters in which supposedly some of the most important competitions must take place.

If the games would be today surely we will have a grave incident on many cases of ill athletes due to have been in contact with putrid waters, containing even human sewage and that represent a serious health risk also for visitors to the iconic beaches of Rio de Janeiro.

In the first independent comprehensive testing for both viruses and bacteria at the Olympic sites, the Associated Press conducted four rounds of tests starting in March. The results have alarmed international experts and dismayed competitors training in Rio, some of whom have already have fallen ill with fevers, vomiting and diarrhea.

These ailments could knock an athlete out for days, potentially curtailing Olympics dreams and the years of hard training behind them.

There were the same level of concern during the Olympics in China with the air pollution. Nothing untoward happened as I recall.

Brazil, as with many countries when the win the bid, little realize just what a handful putting on the Olympics is. Bigger by far than the World Cup, which is the only event in the world that even comes close in comparison.

Brazil will do the job. There will, as with all Olympics, issues, but that won't prevent the show from going on.

There is one huge issue that they have no way of addressing in time: water quality.

At this point in time, Brazilian water quality testing is for bacteria only. They don't test for virus, and the viral load in the water bodies they plan on using for their Olympic swimming and boating events is the equivalent of raw sewage. There truly is not time to build the necessary facilities or infrastructure to address this, so the athletes who have to compete in those venues will be facing major health risks from their fields of competition.

But I don't know if that in and of itself is enough to scratch the entire games.

Well dear Readers,

The pollution in the water supply for the Olympia is certainly a red flag about the conditions in which the games will take place, if they go, but there is something else that seems to be even more determinant to decide whatever will happen in Brazil in 2016.

There are rumors around the web right now circulating of a possible asteroid of 2.5 miles width that may collide with the earth at some point of September. It seems this information has been taken in extreme confidentiality by governments, although there was a leakage of it through a French minister months ago.

From what it is posted in the web, and believe me I am not given credit to all the sources that talk on this, but remaining extremely selective in to whom trust, simulations have suggested that the impact will be somewhere about 200 miles offshore of the coasts of Brazil and possibly also Venezuela.

If this really happen, expected to occur in a window from September 15th to September 28th of this year, this can trigger giant tsunamis in the Atlantic striking the coasts of South America.

Poor Brazil... First they hosted the World Cup and now they are hosting the Olympics. Brazil is going to be in debt up to its eyeballs, but HEY are least they'll be able to look at all those fancy new and expensive sporting arenas decay and be reclaimed by the jungle.

So if your prediction was actually accurate (for once) I'd be celebrating. I'd NEVER want any major world wide sporting event to come to my home city (much less two of them in such a short period of time). Nothing is more annoying than fitting the bill for a several week long party for the world's richest people and businesses.
