Umm...you kinda forgot about the missile launchings into Israeli cities from the Gaza by Hamas. There would not have been a huge blowback but for that.

What you said
Set them on fire and let them burn to death
disgusts me.
Now I understand your mindset when it comes to the Israeli/Palestinian issue. You're as bad as 'they' are.

So what would you do with a child killer? Pat them on the hand then let them sit in a cell for a few years?

Here's the deal. Israel, like other western nations, is civilized. Has gone through the civilization process. Universities, philosophies, etc. So that nowadays our media talks about damn near everything. Moral consciousness is our thing. We do it better than the Arab world.
So the Israeli Palestinian conflict could also be framed as a conflict between the consciousness of the west verses the consciousness of Islamic world. The wests consciousness has been informed by sophisticated scientific study of the natural world and highly nuanced philosophical and humanistic studies of human nature. The Arab world, or the Islamic world (including Iran, Indonesia, etc) is informed mostly by a 1300 year old book that tries (as the Hebrew Bible, Christian Bible, and many other holy texts) to convince people that all the knowledge of the universe can be condensed in story about military campaigns. War mostly. Interspersed with talks of ethics.
However 'inspired' the Quran is, it's status as a source of knowledge in the Islamic world is manifold times more than the Bible in the western world. We've achieved something pivotal called the separation of church from state. By doing so, we allowed the evidences of science i.e empirical proof, guide our society. By doing so we've made the world a far better place. And yes, we still have a # load more to do.
The Israelis aren't acting solely out of political correctness by trying the 3 boys. This is something that is actually felt and inculcated in Israeli classrooms. The status of Arabic as the nations co-official language. This wouldn't happen in an "apartheid" state. Nor would there be Arab Judges, Arab MP's, etc. The Israelis go this far because they truly believe in the constancy between human ethnic or religious groups. They see the individual, embedded in a social-dynamic created by men who've died, but whose values have lived on through the generations, changed a little from time to time, but more or less remaining the same - in sternness, in a basic metaphysical doctrine that implies complete annihilation before a concept. Israelis think in terms of psychology, sociology, political science, comparative religion, physics, the Israelis are a SELF AWARE society. Conversely, the Arab world, has not quite yet reached a state of overt 'self awareness'. Theres been a flicker from time to time, but it is continually be challenged by an atavistic fundamentalism that wont give up its empty, self righteous theory of things.
Morally, a morally conscious person will a priori stand on the side of the Israelis because they understand what they represent vis-a-vis the obstructive forces that work within Arab politics. Just think of Hamas. Think, seriously, of what you're asking for when you sympathize with their cause. They would - and already do - enforce laws that would be deemed discriminatory by our deservedly termed "enlightened" standards. And even in terms of the life and the opportunities each woman could have. Supporting Hamas is agreeing to a bigoted misogynistic society where women are denied the right to certain basic rights - so long as they do not conflict with whats stated in the Quran. The issue of divorce, property rights, etc, women are essentially and acceptably second class citizens no ifs and or buts about it.
I really hope and believe that Palestinians and all surrounding Islamic countries will be more influenced by a moderate Islam, at peace with what the modern world has done to the human mind - to not fight it, but accept how it happened, how human beings came to where we are today, with all our knowing, we can know and should all agree that peace is dependent on our seeing one another not as "pieces" to be claimed. Not to think of one another as "objects" to be controlled. We have to see that we all essentially want to be free from harm, from anxiety, from shame, from pain, in short. When a true humanistic element develops in the Islamic world, we can trust that they will act sanely and in conformity to what has been discovered by the West and East (Asia). Theres a certain standard, a basic idea, that is discovered by the human mind when it is open. But when it is closed - by rigid dogma - it's contents remain unknown.

Israel should do the same thing to them as they did to that child. Set them on fire and let them burn to death or better yet hand them over to the Palestinians seeing how the crime happened in Palestine.
You would actually condone that?
Most definitely murderers should be put to death. They burned this kid alive they didn't kill him then burn him. And whats wrong with turning them over to the Palestinians? They already admitted they committed the crime let the punishment fit the crime.

You forgot about the years of denigration and humiliation and oppression by the Israelis. If not for that there would be no terrorists. There just wouldn't.
