“Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis,” featuring Barack Obama was nominated for an Emmy award for Outstanding Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Program.

The Funny or Die piece that aired in March was propaganda for the Healthcare.gov website that was having trouble forcing insurance on young people who didn’t really want it.

Let's put aside the issue of an Emmy nomination for the moment. Do you think that this performance was good or bad for his image? Is he savvy or is he clueless? By the way, this nomination, and possible win, only serve to deepen the chasm between the friends and foes of O. (p.s. I remember a time when O meant something entirely different.)
