I heard muslims don't even have to use bombs, they just try to figure out what 2 plus 2 equals and their head explodes cause they can't figure it out.

Maybe these ISIS people are on to a good thing. Maybe if they managed to destroy all the churches and mosques the world would be a better place....

“I'd like to start this week with a request, and this one goes out to the followers of the three Abrahamic religions: the Muslims, Christians, and Jews. It's just a little thing, really, but do you think that when you've finished smashing up the world and blowing each other to bits and demanding special privileges while you do it, do you think that maybe the rest of us could sort of have our planet back? I wouldn't ask, but I'm starting to think that there must be something written in the special books that each of you so enjoy referring to that it's ok to behave like special, petulant, pugnacious, pricks."

al-Baghdadi is doing his best to be the prophecied End-Times leader... (the despicable man of Daniel)

his horde of thugs/cut throats... are a riot-mob of murderers' and plunderers, loosely held together under the Caliphate banner..
Intent on not respecting anyones' religion, relics or rules-&-laws (as prophecied)
He has went beyond biblical or koran prophecy...in singling out rome to be sacked, also the Arabian pilgramage site Mecca

the ISIS leader (real or fictional) wants to be like the Mahdi and create the Chaos mandated to usher in the global Islamic Empire...he desires to be the immediate forerunner of the antichrist

it will be interesting to see just how this ISIS Caliph will receive a mortal head wound- yet live..
which will attract millions of fence- sitting Muslims to join or support his personal Caliphate, starting in Syria-Iraq

...
And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces ...

Now does this not sound like the person that al-Baghdadi is modeling himself after ?
a self declared Caliph, having his forces rape, pillage, plunder, destroy all religious sites/relics/Clerics/grave stones...

I'm not surprised. He has been backing radical islam from the start.
Is it any wonder that people don't believe him when he claims to be a Christian?

It's called being 'People of god'. Sadly huge sections of humanity are too scared and too stupid to think for themselves, and other sections (clergy) use this to exert insidious power. Simple as that.

So ingrained is this folly that religions become like tectonic plates, they can grind away against each other for centuries. But one slips and suddenly huge destructive energies are released.
It is so depressing but I fear that a large ideological earthquake is building.

And the timing is great for the border crisis.. All distraction to let something that could be easily stopped, be forgotten while it destroys artifacts they don't want out any longer, and they go about reshaping their NWO.

I was kinda shocked by your post.

So what you are saying is Isis, a militant radical barbaric fraction of Islam is a good thing even though they are murdering crucifying and looting, as long as all churches and mosques or moderate Christian and Muslims are destroyed, along with their religion?

You are obviously a well informed knowledgeable poster, that must realize this has all been done before, with millions of innocent Christians murdered and persecuted.

So what makes you ideologically superior?

Would you feel the same if it was Buddhist temple, or Hindu shrines?

Throughout the history of the Soviet Union (1922-1991), Soviet authorities suppressed and persecuted various forms of Christianity to different extents depending on the particular era. Soviet policy, based on the ideology of Marxism-Leninism, made atheism the official doctrine of the Soviet Union. Marxism-Leninism has consistently advocated the control, suppression, and the elimination of religious beliefs.[1]

The state was committed to the destruction of religion,[2][3] and destroyed churches, mosques and temples, ridiculed, harassed and executed religious leaders, flooded the schools and media with atheistic teachings, and generally promoted atheism as the truth that society should accept.[4][5] The total number of Christian victims of Soviet state atheist policies, has been estimated to range between 12-20 millions.[6][7][8]

BAGHDAD — Warplanes carried out multiple bombing raids in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul on Sunday, a day after the leader of a powerful al-Qaeda-inspired militant group appeared online in a video from the city’s main mosque.

Residents of the city, reached by phone, said airstrikes shook the city at least three times Sunday, starting at dawn. It remains unclear what force carried out the airstrikes

I don't imagine that 'purplemer' meant that what these militants are doing is a good thing, the point was (I think) is that these religious sites/symbols are representative of the divisive power of religion to convince people that 'they' are somehow favoured by a deity, and ridding earth of these divisive items would not be so bad.

For example Christians baulk at the idea that their 'holy' shrines/relics etc.could be eradicated.

May I ask how Christianity spread throughout the western wordl?
By systematic destruction and assimilation of the indigenous religions and traditions.
Clinical destruction of its predecessors is how religion spreads, usually at swordpoint.

Christianity is an old master at this. ISIS are not doing anything new in the world.

Evidence Now Shows That ISIS Has Now Infiltrated The Gaza Strip, Has Hamas Lost Control?
Read more at www.inquisitr.com...

www.gatestoneinstitute.org...

Despite denials by Hamas, there is growing evidence that the terrorist group Islamic State of Iraq and Syria [ISIS] -- also known as "The Islamic State" -- has begun operating in the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian Authority [PA] and Israeli security sources are convinced that followers of ISIS in the Gaza Strip are responsible for some of the recent rocket attacks on Israel.

Hamas, they say, seems to be losing control over the dozens of terror cells belonging to ISIS and other jihadi groups.

When ron wyatte found a house ruins near to where he researched the boat mound he there was a head stone with an image of several people carved into it walking away from a boat image, one of the figures in the depiction had it's head down and it was interpreted as the wife of Noah, after the site was dug up, the very large sarcophagus was taken out of the ground and the looter whom had raided the site Ron wyatte had discovered sold the items of jewlery from the large womans body in the sarcophagus on the black market for a rumored several million dollers.
Nothing it sacred, not even the body of the mother of us all.

I am not in any way condoning what is going on. ISIS is evil, no doubt about it.

HOWEVER. Read your holy books. Read what the so-called prophets and great men got up to. They did EXACTLY what ISIS are doing now, and now there are major religions based on those events.

Sure its sad that history is being wiped out, but its just a cycle repeating. Its nothing new.

Religion itself is not the problem.
Its the humans (men usually) who use it as a tool to control and influence people.

Civilizations and species rise and fall, alas mankinds prediliction to superstition and ego may prevent us ever reaching our potential.

With all the money that goes to maintain a state of warfare we could be centuries ahead in medicine and space exploration.
We will instead keep fighting, destroying our environment and bring pain, fear and suffering on each other.
Because a book says that an invisible deity tell us to....

Sigh - "one to beam up please Mr Scott!"

Without religion and the morality, the belief in a higher order to which we are answerable then the atheist geopolitics and economics would take hold, human culling and forced sterilization to control population and dispose of the sick, weak and unworkable drones comes to mind, now maybe we already have this but on a much smaller scale and perhaps the anti religious idiology is being peddled with the intent of removing this hurdle to such absolute NWO style control of our destiny's.
So I genuinely think the opposite, the world would be much worse off without religion except for the ruling elite, the problem is we have a babble of religions and the one in question in this thread is not a good one at that.

Okay ... I've got a question. I doubt anyone can answer it but I'll toss it out there anyways. These nutters are going around destroying tombs and mosques and churches. If they get into Mecca, would they smash up Muhammads tomb and that Kaaba etc etc as well? Is that the kind of thing that would be on their hit list?

Truthfully, I believe they would. If they are willing to insult their own religion and another's religion with these acts, then you can rest assure that they would do the exact same in Saudi Arabia if they got there of course. It actually proves to me that they aren't real Muslims and do not respect the religion they proclaim to be launching Jihad for. They are just thugs using religion as a mask.

I believe they have openly stated that they would destroy it.

Their argument is similar to one that has run through the Christian churches as well - if you have a statue of a saint, are you still praying to God or praying to the statue? The difference is that the churches that consider it to be idolatry don't tend to blow up the churches that don't mind having a few statues!

From their point of view, the entire concept of the Kaaba and the Black Stone is idolatry therefore blasphemy. They're not being non-muslim, they're just being extremely fundamentalist muslim.

Mecca is a huge money maker for the Saudis, and it keeps the people distracted which is what the Saudi Royals like. I can't see the House of Saud allowing the ISIS nutters to get a strong foothold in their country like has happened in Iraq.

The only problem with that is the House of Saud is the largest backer of Sunni Wahhabism terrorism.

The House of Saud created ISIS.

I am sure the apple doesn't fall far from that tree.
