Got to love prehistoric petrified porn.
The phallus was used all over the place in ancient Greece and Rome. Pompeii had phallic statutes on every house for luck and prosperity.
The Moche tribe of South America has a vast array of pornographic pottery. The Moche culture lived on the north coast of Peru approximately 1,500–2,000 years ago. It is like a ceramic Kama Sutra. They didn't even tell us about that in college Art History classes.

Isn't that the same symbol that is used on your official letterhead skunkape?
Similar form. Much elongated.

I think your assumption that earlier people were prudish about sex is just something we were all taught at school by inferment and originally put out by the Church when it took over 'our morals' (sex is purely for procreation certainly not enjoyment I remember being told as a Kid). Pagans use to love to celebrate life and creation of life had a number of 'celebrations' one was Saturnalia which was steeped in ancient times and the Bacchus celebrations. I suspect there were a lot more 'erotic' carvings about before they got erased. Can't help wondering how the Prof handled it with his students though, if he was an older gentleman.

So this proves that men have been lying about their penis size since recorded history?
It's cool to see how they threw down back then. ...I'm treading lightly here.....I can't afford no more warnings......
