ISIS is the neocon's new bought and paid-for boogeyman. Dumb boogeyman doesn't remember what happens to boogeymen.

The two things I question most is "ISIS" and why all of a sudden the huge amount of immigrant children?!?

It just smells a little fishy.

(I feel sorry for the children. But that's how I'm programmed to feel.)

It smells a LOT fishy. And the oligarchy as well as the DEM's and probably too many GOP . . .

do NOT CARE A FLIP "for the children" . . . regardless of Hillary's grossly hypocritcal blather otherwise.

They'd Bar-B-Q their own mothers and grandmothers if it furthered their POWER GREED and globalist goals.

Thankfully, they won't ultimately get away with even an evil THOUGHT, much less such deeds.

If you can read even half the first link and still ask that question . . . you might should consider re-evaluating your understanding of reality.

Evidently the frog-in-the-bucket incremental increases the globalists have perfected work very well with you.

Sigh.

I think the immigrant children are just a reverse play on Fast and Furious. Remember that? They let a lot of guns slip over the border illegally in an attempt to drum up a faux crisis in order to try to pass gun control. This smells like a reverse play. They let a lot of illegal kids slip over the border illegally to try to drum up a faux crisis in order to try to pass amnesty legislation.

I think it's going to backfire on them as badly as the gun control stuff did.

Hell, no, it's not a coincidence!
It's the administration in charge trying to remake (destroy) America.
I suppose there are gentler ways of phrasing that point, but you get the drift.

Nah...its just we stopped worrying and predicting. In 50 years, how many horror stories or scenarios have there been? The "new society" of folks...will have to go through them all themselves as well.

Of course it worrisome. Of course its bad. But whatever it is...is the "status quo". To quote al old friend. Talking about 9aa...he said "Well, thats really a bad thign and I'd love to chat...but my son has a soccer game in a little while so I have to go now..."

Indifferent? Yes. Clueless? Perhaps. But, when its too much, over and over again..no matter how bad it seems...people become complacent and jaded.

And some of us are...So, what will it be next week? Next month? Next year? WW3? I highly doubt it if it hasnt happened yet. We've had enough good reasons for it all these years...and we are still looking over our shoulder as we go about our daily existences.

you don't think the thing in the middle east is strange? Who is "ISIS"? Where did Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi come from and why is he such a ghost? Only two known photos.....does the man even exist?

The middle-east has been a tempest for how many decades now?

First time i read about ISIL/ISIS was about a year or more ago in reading a few different articles talking about possible terrorist groups that could take in the power void left. I equate people crying this is a new event to the same folks that said the "polar vortex" was some new govt creation because they had never heard of it yet it's been a documented weather phenomena for about a century.

he is probably a ghost because it's not important for the every day person to see him. i can guarantee you I know people in the research field where I work where their are less than 2 pictures of them on the Internet , does that mean they are a ghost?

This is what the world does..It's a living and thriving beast with successes, failures, triumphs and horrors. It's been that way since the dawn of time and will be that way until the end of time.

Okay..Cool story.
My understanding of reality is great.
I dont sit around clutching my tin-foil hat because I think their are more things happening in the world when reality the world is doing what it has always done. Sometimes its more extreme and sometimes its not..

PLagues since the dawn of time? Yes
Financial crisis since money started counting? Yes
Extreme weather? Since the dawn of time
War? the Same
Conflict? yes
Horrible and wonderful things? yes

Things do seem to be coming to a head, but then again that has been the case ever since I registered here in 2009.

There's always multiple situations at any moment that could go off at any moment.

Is it escalating? Who knows really.. Wouldn't exactly surprise me, I'm used to the suspense.. this place has inverted my normalcy bias, I'm doom biased by now.

Youre just at a point where you are starting to notice. I assure you. Year after year, decade after decade...its business as usual for it all. There is always a lot going on. Its no different now...youre just catching it more

For me it was a matter of maturity, and it's different for everyone. At 19 I found out the Fed was a private concern, whoa baby that was the start. That was 37 years ago. For years everyone thought I was a little out there, now I am the smart guy. No just the paying attention guy.

From your first link:

5. "Nationalism is... First wave. The globalization of business and finance by advancing Third Wave economies routinely punctures the national "sovereignty" the nationalists hold so dear..." "The Third Wave... demassifies culture, values, and morality... There are more diverse religious belief systems." "The Consitution of the United States needs to be reconsidered and altered... to create a whole new structure of government..." The Tofflers say fundamentalist, biblical Christianity is "both dangerous and regressive." Beliefs in nationalism, patriotism, and an exclusive God, "give birth to violence or repression." Only when these "Dark Age" menaces are swept away can "advanced wealth creation" by the elite be achieved. Newt Gingrich Mason, member of both the World Future Society and the Council on Foreign Relations, wrote the forward to Alvin and Heidi Toffler's Creating a New Civilization

6. "How I Learned to Love the New World Order" Article by Sen. Joseph R. Biden, Jr. in The Wall Street Journal (April 1992)

7."How to Achieve The New World Order" Title of book excerpt by Henry Kissinger, in Time magazine (March 1994)

8.The truth of the matter is that you do have those standby provisions, and the statutory emergency plans are there whereby you could, in the name of stopping terrorism, apprehend, invoke the military, and arrest Americans and hold them in detention camps." U.S. Representative Henry Gonzalez, August 29, 1994

9."The high office of the President has been used to foment a plot to destroy the American's freedom and before I leave office, I must inform the citizen of this plight." President John Fitzgerald Kennedy - In a speech made to Columbia University on Nov. 12, 1963, ten days before his assassination .

Looks like they are on plan in many/some ways.

I still think our 2d amendment protects many of the other amendments but I suppose it is because after traveling to many garden spots of the world I would not want to trade the life style ''we once had' (before 9/11) in America for any of them.. But I am bias... notice I said before 9/11

The whole ISIS thing is puzzling in some ways. We can find a bad guy in a car going down a highway and blow him and his security detail away by pushing a button at a console and firing a missile from a drone. Yet the leadership of ISIS makes videos and appears to have much freedom to rape, pillage, and plunder the M.E. in the name of Allah and the establishment of a caliph or whatever they choose to call it.

I do wonder if it is not some grand plan for some future none of us are aware of..?

There is so much of interest going on right now that I don't have time to follow all of the big stuff.
Usually can come here, find something interesting, focus on it for a bit then move on to the next doom porn and exciting world event.
But lately, things are happening so fast its hard to stay up on all of it and be properly informed.

So, I agree with the O.P. and was not surprised when he left out some of the other very important things added by posters later
The immigration thing in USA wouldn't have been my lead, but it also worthy of watching for sure.

I don't think WW3 is starting next month, but also don't think there's too many more good years left, and yes... these are the good years, so enjoy them while they last.

It is getting nuttier, but think we've still got a bit yet to go.

It shows a very parochial attitude that people are combining world events (ISIS, Ukraine) with US domestic stories and claiming it has anything to do with America.

The world does not revolve around America, however much you might wish it did.

Actually it does, the U.S. is so intertwined into every single country on this rock. Everything the U.S. does affects the world around it.
