The Israeli's couldn't stand the fact that the Palestinians had united and would prefer to keep them weak and divided.

The Palestinians try to make small efforts to become a part of the international community and engage in the peace process but Israel blocks them at every turn. Palestine tries to join UN organisations, Israel condemns them and threatens responses and says it's completely unacceptable. The Palestinians form a unity government the Israeli's condemn them and refuse to work with them (even though the U.S. said they would continue to work with them).

If Netanyahu actually had the moral courage to take a step back for a moment and not wildly start calling for revenge then things may be different. But then I doubt he could get away with doing such a thing. Until that time this cycle of retribution and retaliatory attacks will continue.

it is so obvious, in another thread I mentioned other developments in Pakistan, Nigeria, Somalia, Kenya, Syria, Ukraine and so on.

it is all very well synchronized, happened in 1 week at the time when teenagers were kidnapped and it's still going on.

there is something else going on, I fear we will find out what it is sooner rather than later.

as for Palestine; as soon as you heard Palestinians have united once again you could have expected problems from the Israeli side.

We,, remember how when they were kidnapped some people immediately claimed it was a "false flag", and Israel did it - with no evidence whatsoever!

as for you saying people claim it is a false flag without evidence I would say it is different when "JohnnyJoo135" claims it is a false flag and when government of Israel claims it is Hamas (without any evidence) and start retaliation against all levels of Palestinian society (if that still exist), ghetto maybe...

There's a difference between members of a forum making claims and a Government with an agenda making claims , Israel is and has been for some time a rogue nation with little or no respect for international law , when they make claims of Hamas involvement without evidence to back it up I suspect they are using the situation for their own agenda.

Israel and Jews in general are very inclusive people. Many are racist and believe they are above everyone else. This has lead to them being very intolerant as a whole. They insight violence by these actions. They are reaping what they have sowed to some degree.


Fences,checkpoints,restrictions,curfews,murder,imprisonment. What did they think would happen. I used to be one of the biggest supporters on ATS......No longer. They need to change the way they look at none Jews before I will support them again.

Three Israeli suspects over the killing of a Palestinian teenager who was abducted and burned to death last week have confessed, an official said.

The source said they were re-enacting the incident for authorities as the country's leaders raced to contain a public uproar over the slaying.

The confessions come as violence continued on Israel's volatile front with the Gaza Strip. Palestinian militants bombarded Israel with some 40 rockets and mortars, drawing Israeli airstrikes in retaliation, and at least eight Palestinian militants were killed.

TPTB here have their hands pretty full at the moment, with the cease fire having just finished and the rockets flying again I'm guessing it will get even busier soon.

You have to remember the staff on ATS are unpaid volunteers and are in fact human as well (I think). As such they all have opinions of their own, I'm pretty sure they are members first and Mods second.

Israel threads are always complicated, too many members ready wade in with hate without actually understanding the situation at a grass roots level. So the question is where does freedom of speech stop ? We are all allowed an opinion, regardless of how wrong we are. That's one of the things that makes ATS so good.

Haters gonna hate my friend, nothing anybody says is going to make them do real research and see facts, it's in their nature.

Sad but true

In the meantime let's all just respect each other and enjoy the ride
