The IUD causes fertilized eggs not to adhere to the uterus wall. That's abortion.

No it isn't, not according the American Medical Association and American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. These methods PREVENT pregnancy.

The biggest horror that this ruling has created is that now, if a woman wants a specific type of birth control not offered by Hobby Lobby, then they have to buy it themselves.

And people are soiling themselves over this ruling.

there is no way for you to know just what that "burden" demands from any one individual so you really can't judge can you???

relying solely on the "natural" process led to many deaths in childbirth!

That's what happens in the age of entitlement.

We don't necessarily want them shut down, but we don't see why our tax dollars need to subsidize them. Have you investigated how much money they make ... aside from the tax dollars?

FF is right. They are technically abortificants. They don't STOP you from getting pregnant. They do stop, in most cases, the continuation of the pregnancy.

I don't believe the Bible addresses contraceptives, so what exactly are you accusing me of? And what in the world does that have to do with the correlation between contraceptives and women's health?

Nope. They just want different people in charge. They don't care that Someone has authority over others only that what they believe in and who they like are the ones with the power.

I guess I would ask how I managed to have my four children and stop after that.... without getting butthurt that someone else wasn't paying for contraceptives?

Yeah will there are millions of people who will never take a breathe of air, or do anything that us living people do.

Hell they wouldn't know how 'awesome' the ACA is.

Hell they wouldn't know the enlightening knowledge ATS creates for consumption.

Why ?

Because people uses ARTIFICIAL means to interfere with a natural process.

Relying on artificial means and DRUGS that have shown their epic short sightedness is leading to senseless death right now.

And that isn't even talking about birth control drugs.

Wrong. These methods can prevent implantation, that's true. But there can be no pregnancy before implantation. Therefore, these particular methods do not cause abortion.

Hobby lobby was citing religion as a reason for denying this basic health care tenant. If not religion, then why are you against contraceptives for women?

No it's because it's applicable. Government can't tell you what to do in your own private life but your boss can. So now that pretty much everything in the US is cooperate (closely held at that) in order to be employed individuals are at the mercy of their employers religious beliefs.

Onanism. It's old testament stuff. (google it if you like) And 'thou shalt not kill'. that applies to the abortificants like the morning after pill and the IUD. They DO allow for sperm to meet egg and then flush the newly conceived child.

Businesses do have rights just not the same rights as residences. Businesses fall under public commodity laws. We've been over this before I don't feel indulgent at the moment. You can cheer all you want for theocracy, I just hope I don't see you crying when it affects you... and it will.

SO, private property be damned.

No wonder we are so screwed up.

Dying from cancer is a natural process. Are you against chemotherapy and radiation treatments as well?

This is a good ruling, no one taxpaying should be paying for abortions
or birth control... I think even handing out free condoms is BS..

I love sex, but if you can't afford condoms,
birth control pills(or other female contraceptives)
or in the worst case scenario an abortion you have
should not be having sex PERIOD..

I don't see how making people pay for their own sexual activities
is a problem?

Bull.

Go get birth control.

Get any kind you like.

Just don't expect the company to pay for it.

(OMG! Personal responsibility!)
