“To be, or not to be: that is the question: Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or to take arms against a sea of troubles…”
And indeed, that IS the question: whether to float with the tide, or to swim for a goal. It is a choice we must all make consciously or unconsciously at one time in our lives. So few people understand this! Think of any decision you’ve ever made which had a bearing on your future: I may be wrong, but I don’t see how it could have been anything but a choice however indirect — between the two things I’ve mentioned: the floating or the swimming.

There are a lot of food choices that can make it bearable. Whether you call them comfort foods or dope, it doesn't really matter. They help us deal with everyday chaos in the mess we have created. The government is good at pushing this mellowing chemistry.
There is no use getting upset about what you cannot change, concentrate on how to simplify your life instead.

On the other hand, seeing new threads pop up that have the same info as a thread on the front page is still very tiring.

You can ignore reality, but you can not ignore the consequences of ignoring reality...Ayn Rand.
Think about what she said before you kill the messenger because you don't like her politics, left or right or nothing at all you can not ignore reality if you really want to know the truth about humans and the world we live in...that is if you can stand it.

Once you are old enough to stop thinking of yourself long enough you realize as a species we have no humanity, we are predators, these things you complain about will fade away.
If all you ever do is stop and think that we kill each other over greed, power and control while every 5 seconds a child dies from starvation (yah I know, its an ad but I looked it up and its basically true) it should bring pause to all the things you hate so much about your life.
Just my opinion.
