Rome was conquered by barbarians.

The Soviet Union went with something resembling a whimper.

History is cyclical. Someday, maybe soon, maybe late, but someday... America will follow. History tells us this. Time is relentless...and hubris only hastens it.

It is some Irony the British Empire had its foundation on pretty evil grounds and ended defending freedom and trying to make some of its past wrongs right.


Will the USA be the opposite? Start on freedom and end in tyrany?
