Shocking to see NIGHTSTAND in a public post, was that part of the whole NSA deal with what's his name.

personal computers are easily attacked even without fancy black hat gear. My roommate in college would get wifi passwords and all sorts of other things with packet sniffing

Hardly shocking...

Posted nearly a year after wired covered it....www.wired.com...
The spy tool catalogue leaked at least 6 mths before that and was talk of the town as I remember.

ahh im not really in that sphere anymore, and tend to shy away from it. in at least 4 years behind but still interesting things like that 'leak'.

i think it was most likely let out as with many things. really makes you wonder what is truly top of the line, the things that have eyes only and no power points.

I think they could have programmed in some kind of stress relief system into the ALICE AI suite. She and Bob may have gotten on much better then

Hi All,

I saw something 2 nights ago you guys will be very interested in. The only way I know how to explain it is as follows.

I was out walking trying to clear my mind when I saw in my periphery a flash in the stars brighter than I have ever seen. I immediately took notice and stopped to watch. I next saw a "star" flash half as bright as the first flash, followed by the same very bright flash. It cycled exactly like this while moving in the sky, until I was no longer able to see it flashing. I probably watched it for 10 minutes. In between the flashes was nothing.

So it went like this * . * . * . * .

Not in that kind of zig zag direction but just to show what the interval was like. Nothing, bright flash, nothing, small flash, nothing, bright flash, nothing, small flash, etc. Maybe 10 seconds between each flash.

ProtectedLogic, that would be a yes.

That sounds like an "Iridium Flare", a.k.a. a satellite with flat solar panels spinning and periodically reflecting the sun into your eyes when everything is at the correct angle by luck.

Question folks sorry if its a little lame. I note a lot of the stealthy platforms shown have tail fins. And in most cases two, I guess for improved stability. My question is do these fins present a greater signature for radar where as in the B2 it could be preferable not to have them ?

Having a tail increases stability, and at the time they were designed a small scale tailless design wasn't the most feasible design.

Having a tail though is actually detrimental to their signature. There's a complex formula to it, but essentially the tail creates a vortex that low frequency radar can detect.

Any chance our lady has been down south around Argentina lately?Don't normally wander into the Alien threads - too much crazy - but this one caught my eye.

Here's the link to the ATS thread www.abovetopsecret.com...

Depending on where she's heading she gets to some unusual places.

Interesting. I always assumed she hauled ass and wouldn't be seen like that video. Could it be she was heading straight "out" and away from the viewers perspective?

Assuming of course, that your reply implied that it definitely wasn't not it since you didn't state that.

A little off topic kind of, but I am curious what your answer would be.

If a hypothetical nuclear propulsion craft was real, would you suppose it could ever be seen from Earth? If hypothetically it could be seen from earth, what do you suppose that might look like?

What you need to watch for is the orange light. That one is fun.

Would it be safe to assume that orange light would be far, far away?

Gotcha. Very interesting I think. I tried to get a video of what I but saw wasn't happening with my iPhone 5 in the middle of a neighborhood. Saw it two nights in a row though. Then again I could have seen something completely different.

That orange light goes from horizon to horizon stupid fast like in 20 seconds.

I always figured its farther away that the greenlady. But it looks pretty big.
