The "toy cars" are real, and Sumerian. They aren't "ooparts" however, they're just ancient children's toys. Sumerians first utilized the wheel.

Posted here on ATS about two years ago:

7500 Year Old Toy Car and World's Oldest Title Deed

This toy in particular, however, appears to have no provenance at all that I can find.

The absence of anything - any publication at all - on Google Scholar from the "Archaeologist" suggests this story (if not the toy) is a fake.

Harte

I agree with Harte and call hoax or at the very least flawed information.

From my knowledge, the Incas of Peru had wheeled toys, but the one I remember was a llama on a platform with four wheels. I don't remember any carts or chariots from the new world (there could be, I'm not sure) but that picture of the "car" and the inscribed stone look Sumerian to me, very much like the other example offered here.

Seeing as only the most uneducated would suggest that 3,000 years ago we only lived in caves, I'm a little cautious how much credibility to give to the rest of the article.

I use to think that. I do not anymore. I read a few books by Graham Hancock they changed my mind. Try a book called Finger Prints of the Gods if you interested

Kind regards

purp

3,000 years ago is roughly 900 BCE. Major empires existed at that point in time. Not sure what that has to do with anything Graham Hancock tries to bring to the party?

With the front tracks that much narrower than the rear: If its a car, its designed to only go in a straight line. Could it then be some sort of plough/harvester? they would only travel in a straight line??

I was actually thinking massage rollers myself--a wide and narrow track would be useful then..

I dont know. I dont think its a car tho

Imagine if bikes were invented 7,500 years ago? That would be amazing. Maybe, humanity would have discovered a lot of the world quicker.

I doubt this object is a 'car' (unless it was built with peddles like a bike because it would have been difficult in those times to build many small parts that run on fuel - whether oil/gas or etc.)

I don't know, that hole in the 'front' wheel looks like it was drilled out very recently.
Also, looking at the front picture you can see the 'front' axle and wheels are just setting there and the 'body' is resting on it. The different colors make me think that these are 2 different devices, the 'car' front part may be for holding it and using it as a roller of sorts, lets just forget about the extra set of wheels, they don't belong under the other object.

So many times i have posted, so many more times i will post it again.

History is not as school books claim it is!

So many ancient texts from different civilizations mention the existence of hyper technology from 10,000 BC at least! Were all the ancients dreamers? Did they like so much to live inside a fairytale? Did they need to lie for the dozens of antigrarvity they were witnessing every day? Did they need to lie about trips to the Moon, to Mars, to Jupiter, to wars with races from other solar systems or other galaxies? Or the "farmers", the "hunters" had such a HUGE imagination that they could create anti-gravity vehicles and describe both their use and their parts or the process of their construction?

Fool is the one who knows the existence of these information and does not accept them.

OT, how could anyone explain that the "hunters", the people who had not even create societies in small villages as school books say, had the ability to create a toy which by a "very bad coincidense" looks extremely relevant to nowadays cars?

Wiseacres of the ATS, who accept only what school books write, what do you think?

PS: i say school books and not generally books as apparently there are some professors who know the truth and write it within their books

Given that the above is simply false the answer would, of course, be invalid.

Fool is the one who knows the existence of these information and does not accept them.

The fool is the one that doesn't know the sources of this so-called "information," yet accepts it anyway over fully vetted work by academic scholars.

Don't you have that backwards? Which came first?

So you are the arbiter of truth.

I suspect you don't like what "school books" say because you don't care to take the time to read and understand them.
That's understandable. I recognize it. Why don't you?

Written in the 20th century, but "ancient?"
That last one is a good example of what I meant when I said "The fool is the one that doesn't know the sources of this so-called "information," yet accepts it anyway over fully vetted work by academic scholars."

In the other thread you denied to read the book, you made your own conclusions, you even took Wiki as a source! I am not a referee, however i possess a Master in History and Archeology with specialization in ancient Greek History ( the 1 of my 3 Masters) along with 40 years of personal interest in the ancient worlds. I took the degree in my 40s, i am not an archeologist although i do have participated in archaeological excavations in my country. So noob, do you really believe you can antagonize me when it comes to what the ancient History writes?

LOL "Noob."
Look, a list of authors is not in any way a support for your ridiculous claims.
Quote and link, if you want what they said explained to you. I have my doubts about whether you've read any of the above at all. You call it "history." Please link to the historical texts of, say, Plato.

Oh and btw, i am interested. What degrees you have? None, as i guess? Anything relevant to the ancient cultures?

So it's a battle of the degrees now, is it?

Let's simply note this - you claimed a channelled 20th century text as an "ancient source" for your inane beliefs.
How's that degree working for you?

Sorry JC but that is too funny not to note again. You may wish to request a refund on one of those degrees.....
