Bees are members of their respective hives. Hives make war on one another with some regularity, believe it or not, so they don't behave as a species, but as a hive.

We have the ability to think and problem solve that bees do not. Bees will fight when the resources are limited. Here on planet earth we have enough food to go round what we have is a resource allocation problem.

I am not a socialist nor am a capitalists both are evidently failed systems. It is about time you stopped looking at the world through that old paradigm unless you think we are doing a good job and want things to continue the way they are..

only the ones without a strong survival instinct - which is what you are seeing right now... people's survival instinct kicking in.

It's a good thing, its why it's ingrained in us. Loose that as a species we WILL die out. Quite frankly there are psychopaths out there who don't have any instinct but to kill, and wild animals and such roaming around... a survival instinct is quite necessary to human survival.

It's always a matter of which humans survive to pass down their genealogy to future generations... I prefer it not to be the psychopaths. In general it's much better for the human race that way.

First,... He is a Brit,... so some leeway must be given...

Obviously chopping off heads is worse than not chopping off heads...

I wonder if Mr. Brand has seen the video on Live Leak that was posted a few days ago. It would be interesting to ask the people of Iraq if they would like a little bombing on ISIS. These people kill indiscriminately, just driving down the road and shooting the car they pull up next to, killing everyone in it. If you escape the shooting they drive you down and finish. At this point it really doesn't matter who created the problem, Bush Cheney, Obama, my mom, whoever, they need to be stopped. It was a truly disturbing video to say the least.

I wonder if the people of Iraq saw the video on Wikileaks that was posted up a few years ago. You know the one of the helicopter owned by the US military that starts shooting up people in the street. Heck they even killed a few kids there too. Laughing as they did it.
Of course we could send in a few air strikes and put a dent their huge military complex. In the Iraq war that was fought to win hearts and minds ONE MILLION civilians where killed by the occupation.

It is all a matter of perspective and that is where your terrorists are coming from. Every time a drone flies over Afganistan and kills another innocent family you plant a seed of hatred.

Do you know something. Really people it is not that hard. We are human beings we can make choices and if we want Utopia we can have it. It is up to us.

BUT no lets continue to lead by example another way lets defend bombing one of the oldest civilizations back into the stone age again. Lets continue to listen to and defend the hate being spilled out on our news channels lets continue to demonise people who try and bring messages of peace.

Ok to be fair I searched WL for the video and couldn't find it, if you have a link it should be put up as well. And bombing them for me is fine. If I was there I couldn't stand by and watch as they kill indiscriminately. I can only effect today not what happened yesterday. But if that video is still available then lets post it. Fair is Fair.

5th April 2010 10:44 EST WikiLeaks has released a classified US military video depicting three airstrikes from a US Apache helicopter on July 12, 2007 in New Baghdad, Iraq. At least eighteen people were killed in the airstrikes, including two journalists working for Reuters, Saeed Chmagh and Namir Noor-Eldeen. The video was recorded by the gunsight camera on the Apache helicopter, identified as Crazyhorse 18, and is accompanied by the radio communications of the helicopter gunmen as they communicate with their commanders and troops on the ground.
