Well, those Air Hospitals are nothing new. Germany also got one of them for insets in Kosovo and/or Afghanistan, saw a tv coverage about that. USA
probably too..
Its very expensive to stay 24h on "stand-by" with the plane + crew..a better way is maybe, to amplify the hospitals on the ground and add a ICU or something like that.
