Uncle Tom means turn coat or race traitor.
The n-word basically means substandard human.
Any one of any race could be considered an Uncle Tom for betraying there family of group.
If my brother snitches on me. He's an Uncle Tom.
How about this. We both go on the subway in Harlem. I'll yell Uncle Tom. You yell the N-word and well see who walks off at the next stop.

The N-word is not supposed to mean that, it is supposed to just identify the origin of a culture of a people. Somehow long ago it got messed up. The name is from an old meaning of dark or black.
This is being blown up, a person who is nigerian should not be upset about the N-word. But as usual, we blow things out of proportion on both sides and throw insults at others in this country.
I read a study a while back about Europeans sometimes won't listen until you yell at them. This is evident with kids some time, and also in arguments that happen to marriages. The article also stated that the Chinese will not do something if you yell at them, they believe in civility as being important. The Diplomats understand this difference in culture, and yelling at the Chinese will cause them to do the opposite while yelling at Europeans gets them to do what they are supposed to do. This was hard to comprehend at first, but I evaluated it and it appears to be true. I am sure that the Chinese are not the only ones in this class.

Dear Oblvion;
I agree with your rant 99%....The one thing you didn't really touch upon is what I feel are the true culprits, the truly dangerous lot in our downfall as a nation = the Press
Our socialist, Liberal dick sucking press
The Dems are entitled to their ideas as are the GOP as are any other group....
Its up to the press to cover all fairly exposing each good and bad points
of course they don't and telling the same lie over and over again as they do....it becomes the truth for the zombies out there that vote as they are told....
They only solutions are 1. vote the bastards out...never gonna happen with all the zombies and fixed voting stations, 2. right wing ...dare i say it....death squads of groups that feel so cornered / scared that they will lash out...
However...i dont think it matters anymore.....we are too far gone..... farther than we dare think

The world is better then ever before. All of the things I mentioned were accepted and encouraged by the state and churches. What do we condone now that's even close to those things?

So LBJ was a repub then?
Funny it is on tape, he is not a repub and he is a racist.
It is always funny to me how the dems always say the "parties flipped", there is no actual evidence of this, the dems have always been the racists, even to this day, they make the most racists gaffs of either party, yet you guys give them a pass, and try to turn non racists comments into them to hids your parties obvious racism.
Wait is this yet another top dem making obvious racial comments?
How about Clinton?
I mean how many you want here? Is this enough, or do you want 10 more or 20 more, I can and will supply them in moments.
This isnt looking good for your side bro.
Either admit racism is at least a problem for both parties, or I will continue at great length here.

Gee, think your brush is wide enough yet? Plenty of differing political affiliations do agree that what goes on in someone else's bedroom is NOYFB. Extremist mindset for viewing consenting adults as acceptable rather than abnormal? Yeah, sure brah.
The rest of your rant, stones in glass houses bud. Corruption knows no bounds, and Red is equally as guilty as Blue. Deflecting blame solves nothing.
I personally think words are wind. It's foolish to give breaths of air power over you.

A derogatory term to describe a person, is a derogatory term, is it not'?
Or is it only certain derogatory terms that matter? or should I say, certain people?
And who gets to choose which terms are bad, and which are acceptable?
You'd have to be a fool to not see what's really going on, here.

However all derogatory terms are not created equal. Some are more offensive the others.

Laughable at best.
Don't get me wrong here, The GOP is just as bad as the Dems in my opinion, but to actually believe what you just said, is sad.
So, the Democrats historically prove to be racist, but when that is brought up, it's "Oh, all the racists left the Dems, and joined the GOP." How convenient when attempting to saint one's self.

That would all depend on who is hearing them, wouldn't it?
