Research scientist Stephanie Seneff of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a widely published author on topics ranging from Azlheimer’s Disease to autism and cardiovascular disease, raised plenty of eyebrows recently with a bold proclamation on autism at a special panel in Massachusetts about genetically modified organisms and other topics.

If this information holds water then alarm bells should really be ringing. Of note was Stephanie Seneff research into Roundup and links between Autism and her claim that at current rates half of US Children Will Be Autistic (by 2025)

Seneff presented slides showing a remarkably consistent correlation between the rising use of Roundup (with its active ingredient glyphosate) on crops and the rising rates of autism; while it doesn’t show a direct correlation it does give researchers plenty to think about, especially considering Seneff’s research into the side effects of autism that mimic glyphosate toxicity and deficiencies.

Monsanto claim that round up is harmless because we do not have the correct pathways to inhibit. However Stephanie Seneff who has several papers to her name has evidence that roundup does damage the flora in our gut

Seneff notes that our gut bacteria do have this pathway, and that’s crucial because these bacteria supply our body with crucial amino acids.

Of course it goes without saying that many of the studies provided to EPA where done by the drug company itself...

I have the feeling that is going to be worst than that, perhaps our future generations will become sterile also, due to all damage done to us by the companies that have influences in our foods supplies.

You have to remember, if nobody actually tests broadform than the connection will not be found. There is no test required other than what the FDA and their backers deem as necessary. There could be a relationship here, but I doubt if our FDA will investigate it, they have strong ties with Monsanto.

My wife and I were talking about a chicken oven coating we used to love when we were young. It was changed about fifteen or more years ago to a very lousy tasting chemical combination. We were eating the processed foods at the time, so we were used to this kind of food. They changed the recipe, we and thousands of people quit buying it. A salesman for some company convinced the food manufacturer that people desired this taste, the fifth taste. Since then it tasted like mushy salty Um. Not something I and many others think is good. The company probably saw a reduction in sales and the salesmen who sold it to them fed them crap that people are buying more store chickens or something and that it would have been worse if their chemicals were not in there. Now management is thinking, we have to keep this or we will lose more money when in fact people did not like their chicken coating anymore so started to buy them in stores already made. I'm not naming this coating you shake in a bag. But I think I am on the right track. Chemical sales people are very convincing and they give bonus items as incentives to people, whether it is donuts or vacations, it is lucrative to those they deal with.

Deceit comes in many forms, most of which are salesmen.

Unfortunately Monsanto is here to stay and do as they please. The only way they will ever be put in check is if we go full blown socialist, and the odds of that happening are even worse than putting Monsanto in check.

Well it's pretty obvious that SOMETHING is causing the levels of autism to rise consistently in many western nations. Those people claiming that "we're just getting better at spotting autism" are completely wrong and they need to stop pushing such lies, this is a serious problem and the longer it's ignored the worse off we will be. It truly is sad that a nation of retards can be created by corporations who place profits above everything else.

The problem with nailing down autism, is that there has been SO MUCH that changed as the rates of DX increased, that it's near impossible to pinpoint down, ALSO, that it's a spectrum "disorder" so the notion that any one thing causes it basically goes out the window.

You have genes interacting with environments which are rapidly evolving. Not only the friggin climate, but then what we're consuming, and absorbing as the years roll on.

I mean, you could point to the internet, as much as GMO's, and find the same time period and major increase, roughly. You could point to the rise in vaccination, with the rise in medicalization of practically everything that's not deemed "normal". You could even go as far as sugar intake, along side a decrease in omega 3:6 ratio, or antibiotics, with petrochemicals. Many things having roughly the same timelines, and different impacts, though we only know so very little of each for our species as a whole.

Overall, rapid adaptations, or lack their of, due to the immense changes which industry has brought about since the industrial revolution, gone into overdrive in the age of petrol, and petrochemicals, now far into hyper-drive with tech the likes of internet and smartphones.

Last thing I'll mention is:

Autism is to 1975 as psychopathy is to early 20th century. The definitions have morphed over time, and have either become more inclusive, or exclusive, depending on who you speak to, and what aspect of the "disorder" they're choosing to focus on.

We've done boxed in all the symptoms best as they have application, it's best to not keep reshaping them, and shift focus to underlying causes in the environment, interacting with the actual biology. Better yet, let nature do it's thing. More now than ever before. It's only a disorder if the current order finds issue with it. Majority = order. Looks like all we have to do is wait it out.

She doesn't just link autism with glyphosate, she also links deaths from dementia with glyphosate, obesity with glyphosate, celiac disease with glyphosate, deaths due to intestinal infection with glyphosate and acute kidney failure with glyphosate.

You could place almost anything against glyphosate use and see a similar trend.

Even completely unrelated things like global car ownership, or China's energy consumption.

So is she linking everything which is on the increase to the increasing use of glyphosate? I suspect she may be.

I think the apparent rise in autism has more to do with the tendency to categorise and medicalise what might more rationally be seen as part of the wonderfully diverse spectrum of human behaviour and characteristics.

I'm not by the way an apologist for Monsanto - I would cheerfully see them put out of business.

Now, there's no way Chinese energy production can be attributed to American autism rates in children, right?

Yet the graphs are scarily close.

They should do a study on the Amish and publish their rate of cancer autism and school shootings.
I'm going to go out on a limb and postulate that it's pretty low.

When I started seeing the recent dramatic rise in autism I thought one
the causes could simply be better and more accurate autism reporting.

Of course it could also be mercury, fluoride, Aspertame, or a host of
other toxic substances that we ingest--either as parents who pass it down
thru damaged DNA, or as children who ingest something while still in
development.

Either way, the thought of one of the tactics of war comes to mind:
It's the one where instead of killing your opponents you purposefully
only injure them, so that those that are left healthy cannot fight--they
must spend their time and energy caring for the injured.

I think that tactic would work really well on an armed, belligerent
populous that you were wanting to subdue and control.....

If half of the US children are austistic by say 2075, that would be a great way to usher in a New World Order.

Just think, the last of the thinking generation that actually learned something (born from 1975-1985) would have died off or be too old to do anything had they survived. The Y and Z generation would be too complacent to do anything about anyone unless it centered around losing a smartphone device.

So by 2075 half of the country's populous would be as gullible as George's burden in Of Mice and Men.

Sounds like a great way to bump off bottom feeders to me. Especially the dumb ones who can't learn and outnumber the few who tried to think but weren't talk in their peer group.
