Thank you very much for your kind words.

I think we are all artists in our own way.

I put it out there really for everyone but hoped to get other artists critique' as well , its the only way I will grow in my craft whichever one it is at the time.

peace and luck

Thanks,

I'm an open book, and am happy to share what I do with everyone.

If someone derives any pleasure from it all the better, art for me is just another means to provoke or move a person to see into my reality and theirs and share common bonds.

I'm really very happily surprised by the positive review, I'm not used to such a warm response except from the missus that is.

Cheers!

Very nice indeed, loving your other work too. What wood did you use? Lime/Linden?

I often intend to carve/sculpt wood beyond the crafts i already do but i always get drawn back to my regular pursuits - i have the basic tools, now i just need to get some softer wood, as i usually collect hard stuff like Hawthorn and Holly

Thanks for sharing and inspiring!

I don't quite know how to explain it.... but I NEED to see stuff like this from time to time, and to hear some of the story behind it. I just need to know that there are people like you out there, living your life, and whittling away at a piece of wood, or any kind of time consuming art resulting in beauty, like the work I've seen by asktheanimals for example. And I like knowing it took 4 years to complete and that you carved intuitively.

So thank you for giving me something I feel I need. I guess, to me, It means the world is still kinda normal and there Is hope for us...
