I wanted to add a recent article about the "cheese controversity" that is emblematic of how news items get twisted and blown out of proportion by industry 'groups' and media and finally turns into a thoroughly misleading headline such as the one for this thread.

Sensational headlines are nothing new but their use is getting out of control with the advent of the interent.
