Hey gang!

Just checking in to let you all know the scuttlebutt.

As you may be aware, my family and I have been fighting a legal battle with a customer of ours, who has been attempting to defraud us of money, by threatening and then following through with a spurious legal claim against our company.

Although the matter is not yet concluded, I am pleased to announce that after its first day in court, which was on Monday, we have learned several things which appear to be very much in our favour. First of all, our opponent in the case is not mentally capable of organising a claim in the Small Claims Court, as proven by his total failure to arrange his claim properly, for which the judge gave him a dressing down.

He is also incapable of understanding the basic principles of court procedure, to the extent that he has been trying to get things done through the aforementioned court, which actually need to be processed through a criminal court before any damages can be forthcoming (that is, assuming his false accusations against our company, and myself particularly, were truth, rather than total fabrications).

He accused our legal representative of threatening him in the court room, at which point the judge explained that in fact, our legal representative had been informing him of the letter of the law, rather than making an explicit threat against him (our counsel had been trying to explain the costs involved with bringing the matter forward from the point we have reached, in the event of our opponent failing to prove his case against us).

Our opponent has been given the opportunity to bring the matter to a higher court, to deal with the matter in that place, which is a court which has more power to affect remedies in legal disputes like ours. While it may be expensive to do so initially, we believe, as do our legal representatives, that if this buffoon wishes to harass us further in this manner, then we have only to hand him the rope, and he will set himself a swinging all on his own, at which point we will get reimbursed for the imposition, and handsomely so as well.

In short, the matter is far from concluded, but given our opponents inability to understand the law, his inability to bring a case without making a fool of himself before the entire courtroom, and indeed the likelihood that his taking it further will result in his case being taken apart in hilarious fashion before a great many witnesses, we are confident that eventually, the truth will out, and this vexatious litigator will be dispatched with all the surgical precision of an OCD serial throat slitter.

All that to let us know that you are dealing with a litigious idiot. Ya oughta be a lawyer.

Hey, get back to that thread where I can't figure out what the heck it means. Yeah, you know the one. LOL

Figured I would stop in and see what's going on before heading off to that wonderful place called Sleepyville. I see that all is quiet and going well here so I'll leave this place be for the night. At least I don't have to worry about this place, these dragons are well trained and have everything well in hand.

Speaking of dragons and far off places.............. I think I'll just leave these here tonight

When I laid eye's on the little purple dragon, the first thing that came to my mind was "Skisum". LOL!!

I think the word has something to do with Heavy Metal music.

I don't know, maybe it was the Led Zepplin music. LOL!!

Hello there Kat! Hello Sheddites!!

Been leaving suet out for the birds. Had a small woodpecker and a big one come visit. Had a couple of starlings and sparrows. I have heard what sounded like a tufted titmouse or chickadee out there too. It has been a difficult time for birds this winter. Mom said she saw a robin the other day. Our weather is supposed to warm up a bit soon.

Once it gets warm enough and stays that way, I want to get herbs to plant outside this year.

All right Gordi, we all know what a terrible time you will have. But do it for the betterment of others. LOL!!!!!!

Hey Syx, I was looking at the weather channel map. Looks like that snow just missed you. Lucky break.

You have never seen Led Zepplin in concert? I love the early stuff. We have (had) some vintage concert video's of them playing in small venue's. Awesome video. I tried looking for them this morning, but I can't find them. They'll turn up, but I would love to watch them tonight.

If I do find them and you have VHS capability, I would be willing to get copies and send them to you. Alice time.

Gotta fly in a few for some real life stuff. Back after a bit though......

In the morning when Syx woke up, He looked outside at all the snow. It was depressing to Him. He thought it would be a good idea to take a flight. He had not been flying for a time now and thought the diversion would be nice.

He nudged CC awake and asked Her if She would like to go for a morning flight. She replied, " Maybe when I wake up a little first Syx. I was having a nice dream and You ruined it!"

"I'm sorry dear, but I want to do something to shake this depression. I thought a flight might help with that."

"Go see if some of the other Dragons want to go with You. It is way too early for this. Maybe I will go out later with You, ok?" CC said sleepily.

"Ok. Sorry about the dream bit. Maybe You can pick it up again after going back to sleep." Syx replied.

With that, Syx headed down the hall to the kitchen of The Shed, to grab some coffee. There, seated around the table were some of the Feline's and a few of the regular Shed Dwellers sharing Coffee, Tea, and conversations. There were a couple new people there that Syx did not know yet. He introduced himself and then poured some coffee and took a seat at the table.

"I will be glad when this snow has melted. It is a nice sight at first, but to Me, it quickly becomes dreary. I long for the sights and smells of Spring! I hope it will arrive soon. The wait is almost unbearable!!" He stated to everyone in the room.

"I like the snow and how it blankets everything in white purity." Said one of the Felines. "It is pleasing to the eye!"

"Yes I agree, but I have been through so many winters here, that I cannot stand it for very long. Each year I become impatient more and more, waiting for the thaw of Spring!" Syx exclaimed.

"The thaw will be here soon enough Syx. You can be assured of that!" Someone said to Syx.

"Well it won't be soon enough for Me. That's what I am sure of! LOL!!" Syx chuckled. "I believe I am going to take a flight this morning! Anyone want to go with?"

A few of the Feline's said they would like to go along and they all headed outside into the cold morning air.

The sun was still low but bright enough to light the path to the Dragons keep nicely. They walked in silence taking in the sights and sounds of small animals starting their day. Rabbits were scampering around foraging for greens. And some birds were chirping happily the songs of morning.

The Felines chose a few Dragons and climbed on their back's. Syx shapeshifted into His Dragon Form and soon the small party took to the sky!

Night watched as the dragons all took to the sky with their riders to join the others already there. Such a majestic sight to behold. She noticed one get closer and closer and then realized it was Storm.
"Care to join the party dear one?"
Night smiled warmly as Storm bent down. She climbed up into the custom made saddle and soon they were off soaring at impossible heights. There was nothing as exhilarating as a dragon ride, high up in the sky with the wind in your hair and taking in the beauty of the land below. She tried to imagine what it would be like to have wings of her own. These creatures were so blessed and so magical. She held them all close to her heart and was ever so grateful to have known them.

Her stomach turned a bit when Storm suddenly lurched downward then back up again.
"Wind currents, sorry Night."
In the distance they spotted a small gathering in the forest and both wondered who or what was down there and what they were doing.
"Shall we investigate little elf?"
"Indeed we shall." She tried to catch the attention of Syx to signal him to go down with them. She hoped he saw her. They landed softly in a clearing, then headed toward thick brush and trees cautiously waiting and watching.
