We got lucky here. That storm hit where I used to live, West of here under Chicago, and skipped over us to Your neck of the woods! I appreciate You taken the brunt My Friend!!!

Cold as anything here though. I think it got to about 15 degrees F. for the high today!!!

Aww, thanks guys! In all fairness, I hardly celebrate it anymore; this last year hasn't had much cheer in it - a lot of big, life-changing events happened all at once. But, nonetheless there's a smile on my face at least for tonight.

And the snow's staying all to the west; my area hasn't really been touched. There's enough snow outside to make everything look pretty, which I hear is supposed to change tomorrow.

Maybe when the next storm hits I'll treat everyone to some photos (from the comfort of my new place of course).

Well I hope it doesn't change for the worse!? I always wonder why I stay around in the cold climate for all these years especially since I can't stand the cold! Just a glutton for punishment I guess...... Alas, such is My life! LOL!!!

Hello across the pond!
Syx, I did read your latest entry into the story. I just don't know what to add right now. Had a busy day yesterday and so far today I am very sleepy. My sister is visiting at Mom's around noon so I'll be visiting for a while with them later on.

Foss, it wasn't a very good year for me either Honey! Glad you are all settled in your new place. Very cold here today. Last week was warm. LOL Looks like the cold is here to stay now. So far, no snow.
