I'm still here Night. Hiya everybody! *waves meekly*

I still really haven't fully gotten out of angry mode since early summer and it has taken a turn for the worse this week. I started smoking again while at the farm and haven't had one for three days now. The cravings are just as bad as they were months ago for a few days of smoking. I'm very disappointed in myself at the moment.

I prefer to come here in a good mood, but when I am in a bad mood, I go out into the other nooks and crannies of the forest (forums) to find who I can spar with. I'm toeing the line to be post banned, so I'm being quiet and just watching. I would lurk, but all the ad crap that is on ATS pretty much makes that impossible for me.

I will always be around here somewhere at some point during the day, unless of course I am away from home during the period in question. That is for certain, whatever that is worth!

I come in here bummed alot, but try to raise my levels of positive feelings, and most of the time it helps just to be here among friends!!!!!! Today the writing bug has bitten me so I have been indulging in that pleasure! Matter of fact, gonna do some more writing now, so Night and the rest of You guys can get off the ship.

I do believe I see land ahead, not far off, from my vantage point high above the ocean!!!

If I only came in here when I was feeling positive, you'd never see me. LOL
I'm trying to quit smoking too Dawg. Trying the e-ciggs. First I tried a strawberry flavored which was good and interesting, but just aint a real smoke. So then I tried a tobacco flavored one and good Lord, it tasted weird...eeeew! So I mixed the tobacco and strawberry one and now it's good. Still...isn't the same as a real cigarette, even though it still has nicotine in it. This sucks soooooooo bad.

Do not stay away from this thread if you are angry or sad or whatever. Hell, some of us let it all hang out...the good, the bad and the ugly. LOL I would feel worse staying away.

Off into the now early evening skies, Syx and Cc soar along. The warm updrafts are a pleasure to ride as it makes it easier for them to Fly along on their journey to seek the new land. Gliding, Syx notices a long dark object on the horizon just maybe, a hundred miles ahead. That is a short distance for Him to fly, as He glides on the warm air from below.
Now much closer, He can see that it is indeed an island! Perhaps it is the one they seek?

"Syx This is it!!" CC declares! "I recognize the shape from the map!!"

"CC I do believe You are right!! Let us get closer, to be sure before we head back to let the others know of our discovery!! They do not have much farther to travel, if this in the place of our destiny!!"

The Dragon flies down towards the beach of the newly found island. Landing now, He stands in wait for CC to grab an object from this place.

"CC Grab something to take back so we may prove our find!"

CC gets down off of Syx's back and walks along the shore line. She finds the still warm sand a delight to Her Large Paws.

"How's this Syx?" She asks as She holds up a large sea shell.

"I do believe that will do just fine My Dear! Nice find!" Syx replies.

CCBears ambles back and climbs on Syx's back so they may return to the others.

Syx waddles along and slowly picks up speed, spreading his wings wide to catch the winds needed to help in an easy flight back to the Ship. With the swift breeze, Syx is able to get off the ground and easily flaps His wings to gain altitude. Soon they are high above the ocean once again on the path that will take them back. After an uneventful flight, they are now able to see the Ship directly ahead.

"Almost Home Syx!" CC cries out!

"Yes and won't they be exited to hear that our island from the map is not far away!!" Syx responds.

Now seeing the Ship in full view, Syx dives down towards the deck. He straightens up and flaps His wings downward, slowing Him for a landing on the Deck of the Ship.

Now landing gently, CC says laughingly, " Syx! You are gettin pretty good at this landing bit! I am impressed!"
"Aww, come on CC." Syx embarrassedly replies.
" I know I have some awesome crash landings in the past, but as I age, I guess it is just getting easier to figure out all the logistics of flight and landing." Syx says trying to make himself feel better.
CC gets down from Syx and heads to the stairwell.
Holding up the sea shell she says,"Come on out You guys! It is nice outside!!"

The group them all come out on the deck and look at the good sized seashell CC holds in Her paw.

"That is excellent! It means You have found land?" Someone asks.
Someone else Yells out, "LAND HO!!!!!!" as He
points ahead of the ship to the now easily visable Island they seek. "We will be to shore in no time. Let us prepare!"

The ship moves along in the now dimly lit sky. It is sunset and the view is Beautiful! The Red/Blue skies tinging Purple are a delight to the eyes!

"The shore there is very deep. I believe we can let our ship come right up to the shoreline!" Syx says.
"That is good news! It will be easier to get ashore that way." Someone said in delight!

A short while later, they are right up to the shoreline, and have cast anchor.

"All ashore that's goin' ashore!!" Someone yelled out.

Wolf raced forth ahead of the others. He wasn't much of a traveler by sea. Night Star of course raced after him. Once the group was all together, they lit a fire and set up camp for the night. Syx and Wolf hunted for meat while the others searched for berries, root vegetables, nuts or whatever they could find that was safe to eat and to add to their meal. It took some time to gather what they needed and cook it all up, but in the end it was well worth the wait.

They sat around as the sun dipped below the horizon sharing their excitement and anticipation of things to come.

I find that saying so true of the people here. We have shared so much together, supported and encouraged each other when needed, brought a smile or laughter and joy.

My e-cig is pink. Bottom piece is pink metal then some silver metal attached then a pink plastic middle part with another silver metal piece, then the black plastic tip and a soft clear rubber cap. Quite pretty if I do say so myself. I STILL want a regular cigarette...GAH!!!!!!!!!! LOL
