Hi guys sorry for my last post, no excuses just an abject apology, it was very unfair of me.

Got a lot going on ATM, and to help me out Mrs C blew up the engine in her car today LOL ..................Not

So I'm currently researching a new car for her, I'm thinking something like this.

WOO! Codyness!

Bummer about the motor dude. What the hell happened to make the engine detonate? I mean, there are not many ways to blow a healthy engine, if I remember anything worth knowing from watching years of engineering related documentaries and car programs! It takes effort!

Glad to see you back squire!

I'm no car mechanic mate, I can work on bikes but they use petrol, all I know is that I was sat in the library at work (The place us males go to sit and contemplate and surf ATS) When my mobile rang and Mrs C was on the other end in pieces, I mean hysterical and not in a good way, I couldn't understand a word she was saying. I honestly thought she'd killed someone in a car crash !!!

The nice man from the RAC said something about the turbo, *shrugs shoulders*

Glad to be back, I lost the plot for while there. My apologies, but I'm back to my old self now.

I happen to have a Toyota CT-12?? turbocharger in my shed. 2nd hand but in fine fettle, free to a good home.
(It's from a 1980's Toyota diesel people carrier)

Oh... It's got a turbo? That can make a significant difference to things.

Well, I hope that things work out with your car hunt!

Ford focus 1.8 tdi 1995 Gbro

But thanks for the offer, I'm still waiting to hear from the garage, it's about time we changed it anyway. Mrs C needs a decent motor now with the miles she's doing for work.

And I could use a new toy to play with

To be totally fair, I really do not care as long as the first car I get is older than me, matt black, and comes with as few electronic accessories as possible. I want something I can fix with a wrench and some chewing gum, not a glorified computer on wheels, with a dashboard that looks like the helm control panel of a starship!

But even if all I can get is some modern piece of crap, if its black, I really will not mind that much, when the time comes
The first consideration, is concealment. Thats probably weird, but what else is new, right?

Sorry I missed you all today. On new meds and an antibiotic and slept all damned day.

So glad you decided to return to us Cody!!!!!! And Gordi was in today too.

And of course my poetic heavy metal True. I think if I ever had a son, he'd be like you True, minus the poetic part. LOL

Hope when you get your black car, you don't have to park it under a tree. Our car was always full of bird poo. It was like bird bathroom central!

Morning all
Mrs C has decided overnight that the colour
isn't so important, and is currently winging her
to work in my GTO
I don't know which one I'm
more worried about LOL.

Back is cool True but a bugger in the summer.

Looking at smallish hatch backs right now, the fact
I keep ending up looking at Jaguar XKR's is a tad
distracting LOL.

Hey Cody!

Yes, it is a bugger in summer, you are right, but if I could undercoat the car before painting it black, with some sort of of thermo-electric conversion layer, then I could pump energy back into the battery at all times, with the added cooling effect of transferring the heat into electrical energy, and therefore keeping it away from the interior of the vehicle!

I can dream right?

Oh Hi True! In a LOT of pain. Too early for any meds yet. OW! And I'm supposed to go out later today for lunch with Linda and I need groceries. Maybe the magical lady can shock the pain away. LOL
