On a quest to find the biggest activism-inducing songs, I started wondering how many are out there that I haven't heard of yet, or that you guys may
not have heard of. I'm gonna share my top ten freedom-fighting songs, that is, songs that get me hyped to resist tyranny--then I wanna hear yours
too.
I'm not gonna lie... I'm looking for new freedom-fighting songs.
ATS seems like the best place to look for em.
They're not in any specific order, I'll just post them randomly.
Here goes--
1
I'm sure everyone's heard of this one. I'll be honest--before I knew what this song was about, I hated it. It was always on the radio, and I never
payed attention to the lyrics... I just remember getting annoyed hearing it over and over again. Now that I know what the song is about, however, for
some reason I just can't hear it enough. Funny how that works.
2
Many people like to argue that this song is about revolting against God... these are the same people who call Disturbed satanic. Now listen
here--Disturbed is my favorite band, and they have been for six years. The lead singer is Jewish, and the other members are from all different
beliefs. They are, quite literally, a band of contradiction, though they work surprisingly well together, huh?
This song is NOT about defying God. It begins with a small audio clip from Bush's 9/11 speech, and if you pay attention to the rest of the song,
you'll understand that the song is actually bringing to light how politicians are revered in an almost God-like way. They view you as the new
messiah, I won't let them Deify you, you believe in some demented man, those are some of the lyrics. Believe me, its an outstanding song. Give it
a listen! Its all about breaking the trance of worshiping presidents and other figureheads placed in front of us.

If you're an Alex Jones listener, if if you like to search youtube randomly for freedom fighter songs, you'll definitely have heard this one before.
This song is a little creepy, but it's got a beat that will keep ya moving. This song is gorgeous!

(Disclaimer; mild language) Couldn't find an edited version.
If this video gets snipped, just note that the song is Five Finger Death Punch's Lift Me Up. Look it up!
HEEEERE WE GO! I know this song isn't about freedom fighting per-se, but give it a listen. Its a slightly vague song, but HOLY CRAP will it get you
motivated! This song got me through the past year, and I'm still not tired of it! Its just flat-out AMAZING!
5
Yes, I love Linkin Park, get off my case. This song--my favorite song from their album "Reanimation"--is amazing. Pay attention to the lyrics, they
use the term "The powers that be" and go on to sing/rap about the current state of the world and how they feel about it. Its great!
6
Time to get a little old school. Johnny Cash rocks, I don't care what anyone says. Tell the rambler, the gambler, the **** back biter... tell 'em
that God's gonna cut 'em down.
7
Its gonna be a bit tweaked, because I'm posting the clean version.
If you're a fan of rap, you'll like this guy. I don't agree with everything he says, but over all, he's really good. He uses the term
"illuminati" and he's basically calling everyone out on their crud, pointing out how we're all brainwashed, calling out Obama, etc.
8
You remember that song "Run this town" from a while back, right? Well, this is a better version called "Free this town." Its a 100%
freedom-fighting wake-up song.
9
Okay, this one isn't TECHNICALLY a song. I ripped an mp3 file from this video and used it as a sort of motivational track. Its an epic song, the name
of which I can't spell because its Latin, and the song is spliced over random clips of conspiracy-related topics. Listen to it like a song. For a
conspiracy theorist, its pretty motivational... gets your blood moving.
10
Here's my closer. Its an amazing clip from the 70's combined with an inspiring musical track.
Hope you all enjoyed it, and give me your top ten!

Destiny's called us It's the reckoning This time it's for blood Don't tread on me Revenge is not justice It's the reckoning This time it's
for blood Don't tread on me You went too far this time for this heinouscrime You will know defeat Begging on your knees One by one you'll fall Your
back against the wall Nowhere to turn You're sure to burn Destiny's called us It's the reckoning This time it's for blood Don't tread on me The
hours close at hand We'll make our final stand Justice shall be done Nowhere to run True evil broods in you You're just a brainwashed fool The
coward close that hides Spewing forth his lies Revenge is not justice It's the reckoning This time it's for blood Don't tread on me Born of
destruction, bred in agony Is this my salvation? From these ashes, i am your devastation If it was up to me Eye for an eye I'd seek But the high road
we will take Lady Justice is at stake The Judgement has been made In blood it shall be paid Death knows what to do The horseman comes for you.
Destiny's called us It's the reckoning This time it's for blood Don't tread on me Revenge is not justice It's the reckoning This time it's for
blood Don't tread on me
I always think of this one. I think because I was 13/14 at the time and it really inspired me to take a look at this world outside of what the
classroom taught.
