Firstly,

I've had a dream around 8 months ago of me having a few ferrets and rabbits living together in the same cage, obviously in my dream the ferrets and rabbits got on with each other but in my dream one of the ferrets was missing. I was very upset and was searching for that missing ferret, feeling empty and sad.

Last night my dream was almost like the one I had ( explained above ) but in this one I had only two ferrets and 3 or 4 rabbits and one of the rabbits was missing this time. This dream was a bit different because I remember looking in one of the cages in my mums back garden and seeing two rabbits and one ferret ( the ferret was in between the two rabbits ) all three was at the cage door. I went on to the cages in the shed and that's when I found out one of the rabbits missing, I looked behind this chair and I thought I found it but it turned out to be a hedgehog which ended up following me. I felt so upset in this and I woke up crying..

Can anyone give me an insight on what my dreams could mean please? I'm drawn to the whole rabbit thing because I don't own a rabbit and I'm not sure what it means...

Thank You

I cant tell you much about your dreams (Prime Directive and all that), however, I CAN say that you have come to the right website to learn directly from Bunny Masters themselves.

They have been waiting for you.

I was only partially sarcastic. We do have Bunny Masters here, it seems like some sort of safe place for species such as Beezzicus Weepiens and Wrabbitus Contitutionis. Its odd really...

Anyhow, on top of that, we have some people here extremely knowledge about dreams and tend to be willing to share info. But, dreams can be tricky to interpret for others. Learning how to be your own sage, in these respects, can teach you more about yourself and your dreams than anyone else ever could.

Honestly, I think your dream has to do with fear of loss.
Loss of someone you care about who is alive now or has already died.
You're the caretakers of the pets in your dreams and that might reflect that you are afraid that you are responsible for this loss. When the missing rabbit became a new hedgehog pet, that could mean that you're sad that you have lost before, and now that you have a new thing to take care of, you're afraid you might mess that up as well.

I think I was fixated at the rabbit fru-fru stage. Rubbed all the 'fur' off my teddy bear.

Very tactile/kinesthetic oriented.

Could be an emphasis on comfort, belonging, attachment.

It seems to me that the dream is about your fear of losing someone or something close to you. The small animals theme suggests that you see them as vulnerable, and your responsibility; animals that would be natural enemies living together may suggest that you are concerned about potential conflict between people you love. You see yourself as responsible for keeping everyone together and making sure they don't leave the fold.

That may of course be total rubbish - I'm not a shrink!

I don't see why dreams always have to have meaning or some kind of symbology attached. Considering numerous situations transpire in our waking world with out any rime or reason.

Maybe dreaming is simply our nervous systems(software) attempt at defragmenting our brain(hardware)?

You are perplexed with Spiritual-Religious matters...

the 'missing' rabbit was Raptured, caught up in the clouds...

the remaining characters, Yourself, Rabbits, Ferrets, Hedgehog have been Left Behind
