Does anyone else have a large space between the date and post number and where the actual post starts or is it something screwy with my computer?

Wise choice, and you'll get used to the space thing quickly. The benefits of Firefox blow away any weird little cosmetic glitches like this.

It's your avatar.

Because of it, you also have a huge space between the buttons "Profile" "U2U" "MSN" etc. as well.
