Netanyahu to Hagel: Israel not surprised by new report on Iranian missile work

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said on Friday that Israel was not surprised by a new UN report that said Iran has been pursuing ballistic missiles capabilities. Netanyahu said that the report shows that Iran was trying to deceive the international community. "I wasn't surprised and I'm sure you weren't surprised by the UN report," Netanyahu said during a joint press briefing in Jerusalem with US Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel.
The new report by the UN Panel of Experts said Iran's overall attempts to illicitly procure materials for its banned nuclear and missile program appear to have slowed down as it pursues negotiations with world powers that it hopes will bring an end to sanctions.

Why should it surprise you Benny? Iran has just as much of a right to build weapons for their defense just as Israel does. Also seeing how Benny is keeping up the "illegal Iranian nuke program" lie it would be no shock if they tried to beg even more money from America.
I have no idea why those Israeli lapdogs McCain and Graham objected to Hagel becoming SOD just because he said at one time he was an American Senator and not a Israeli Senator. Because it looks like he is becoming a great Israeli Secretary of Defense. You let our veterans do without but send hundreds of millions on top of the billions they already get from us you sir make me want to vomit.

Iran has the right. But their ultimate goals are not for defense.

Eventually Israel will be provoked into attacking Iran, and the Iranians will have the justification to retaliate. As planned....

However you choose to look at it, or from whatever perspective, it doesn't end well for either side, especially for Israel.

Fullfillment of highest order Shiite prophecies requires great planning and sacrifice.

During a public audience with a US ambassador serving in the Middle East, the statement or question of Iran's right to defend its national interests by counter-balancing its nuclear weapons capability with that of Israel. The US ambassador quipped that Iran was legally held responsible for signing a historic Middle East Nonproliferation Treaty, while Israel was NOT held to such an agreement, since it had declined to sign on.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhh . . .

Israel does not have a theocracy that insists the founding religious documents

insist

that all faithful Muslims MUST be wiped off the planet . . . along with their nations.

It's interesting that some who are MOST hostile to theocracies generally

seem to champion Islamic theocracies in their hostility toward Israel.

Go figure.

Personally, that strikes me as more than wholesale disingenuous, to put it hyper mildly.

Iran has never said Israel should be wiped off the planet. It was Benny that made that up. Not to mention Iran hasn't started a war in 300 years can't say that about Israel huh?

Yes Israel didn't have the backbone to sign the treaty. That is why their nuclear program is illegal. Funny how you never hear anyone say they should be disarmed even though Israel has threatened to use them over the years.

Lost in the translation.... Persian to English is difficult.

Cancerous tumor called Israel must be uprooted from the region.

This occupation regime over Jerusalem must vanish from the arena of time.

Or page of time from Ahmadinejad...

It isn't what they say in public, or how it is or was translated that matters...

Actions speak far more than words.

No if they never signed it its not illegal to have them. If the iranians wanted to develop nuclear weapons they should not had signed it correct?

Also Iran has death to america rallys and such.Very peaceful plans there it seems. If Khomemi was killed you would see a change in Iran. They are all afraid of the murderer(yes he has killed people himself according to aides)

Bad argument there Bro.
If actions do speak louder than words, why are the israeli terrorists who are doing all of the actions not speaking even a whisper in the media.
Yet, all of Irans leaders words are being twisted and lied about, then broadcast as fact?

This particular debate always amuses me. People taking one side or the other, debating the morality of people at war calling one side or another "terrorist"

None of that stuff matters, Which side is "converting" with the most vigor at any moment in history is who you shoot at... At current rate of Judaic expansion I need to worry about them in roughly the year 3567, Christianity mainly is retracting and well Islam... There was a Strar Trek episode about them no? Tribbles?

I have to wonder . . . have you paid any attention to any of the news brandied about by Iran the last 20 years re Israel?

Hint . . . Iran is not all the sweetness and light you seem to think it is.

. . . particularly toward Israel.

Has Israel ever attacked anyone, in the modern era, not armed to the teeth and attacking it or hours away from attacking it?

I don't blame Iran, Syria or anyone else who has to live near the terrorists in Israel. I would be building weapons to protect my country too. Nutnyahoo is a liar. Many world leaders know this and pretty much laugh at him and his racist insanity. All service personnel should refuse any orders to attack Iran or any other muslim country. No more genocide and no more using Americans as a weapon. And no more taxpayer money to these terrorists. Too many traitors in D.C who work for Israel instead of working for America. Arrest warrants need to be issued immediately.

This is part 8 of the latest "bibi attacks" on Iran,,another useless attempt to get more support and attention from the world community....Israelis have to accept the fact that Iran is becoming a more advanced and more unified nation. They have to respect the powerful influential Iran as a major player in the ME affairs in order to co exist with the others in an alarmingly hostile neighborhood....Fear mongering only makes one appear weak on the eyes of the others.

Israel couldn't manage Hezbollah, I'm sure Iran are shaking in their boots because Israel is so intimidating and powerful.

Well, since the world has collectively called bull**** on their claims that Iran is trying to nuke Israel, they're just going to keep turning attention to other things in an attempt to procure money and support.
Today it's ballistic missile technology, tomorrow... who knows. They're just going to milk that cow to death, and when the financial support starts running thin, false flag time.

I'd feel safer living next to a country with ballistic missiles than living next to one who the international community allows to get away with committing war crimes and violating international laws on a daily basis.

Last time I checked Ahmadinejad was not in power anymore.
