Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said on Friday that Israel was not surprised by a new UN report that said Iran has been pursuing ballistic missiles capabilities. Netanyahu said that the report shows that Iran was trying to deceive the international community. "I wasn't surprised and I'm sure you weren't surprised by the UN report," Netanyahu said during a joint press briefing in Jerusalem with US Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel.
The new report by the UN Panel of Experts said Iran's overall attempts to illicitly procure materials for its banned nuclear and missile program appear to have slowed down as it pursues negotiations with world powers that it hopes will bring an end to sanctions.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhh . . .
Israel does not have a theocracy that insists the founding religious documents
insist
that all faithful Muslims MUST be wiped off the planet . . . along with their nations.
It's interesting that some who are MOST hostile to theocracies generally
seem to champion Islamic theocracies in their hostility toward Israel.
Go figure.
Personally, that strikes me as more than wholesale disingenuous, to put it hyper mildly.

During a public audience with a US ambassador serving in the Middle East, the statement or question of Iran's right to defend its national interests by counter-balancing its nuclear weapons capability with that of Israel. The US ambassador quipped that Iran was legally held responsible for signing a historic Middle East Nonproliferation Treaty, while Israel was NOT held to such an agreement, since it had declined to sign on.

Has Israel ever attacked anyone, in the modern era, not armed to the teeth and attacking it or hours away from attacking it?

Lost in the translation.... Persian to English is difficult.
Cancerous tumor called Israel must be uprooted from the region.
This occupation regime over Jerusalem must vanish from the arena of time.
Or page of time from Ahmadinejad...
It isn't what they say in public, or how it is or was translated that matters...
Actions speak far more than words.
