If an agency was going to watch someone, I wonder if they would do so 24 hours 7 days a week. It must take a lot of resources in manpower. I sometimes think that they are monitoring me. When I return home sometimes I see that books on my bookcase have been pushed out of alignment - just as if someone had been in there looking through my books. Not long ago there was a man in a car parked across the street and he was in there for 3 days straight. I could have sworn he was watching me. There is also a helicopter (I think its a police helicopter) that keeps flying over my house at night and sort of lingers right above. I also have a feeling that they are monitoring my internet to see what websites I visit and what I write in my emails. Sometimes when I get letters I can see that they have been tampered with.

When I went out to the store the other day I saw three me standing in a group holding a discussion and they were looking straight at me.

Another strange thing is that sometimes I hear a high pitched / high frequency sound even if I turn off all electrical equipment.

I am wondering what agency it is that could be doing this. I know that since I joined this website I may have been placed on a watch list, but the monitoring started before then.

Have you experienced this?

Do you think they are monitoring you?

No. I"m sure they have more important people to keep an eye on than us individually.

That being said ... The NSA does have all phone calls and emails and tweets and texts in their data bank. So in that sense they are 'monitoring'. But otherwise, I have no doubt they can't be bothered hiring someone to keep watch on each of us 24/7.

It doesn't really matter if they are monitoring you or not right now because the technology to act on what information is collected cannot be acted on in close enough to real time to matter so much.

One can be caught on camera committing a crime, but if the resolution of the camera is so poor that the criminal cannot be identified with the footage, what is it really worth?.

It's worth only what the sucker who threw down the money for the shoddy security system paid for it.

The guy in the car for three days was maybe homeless or having a fight with his wife and kicked out of the house, is the car parked anywhere nearby now?, like in a driveway or parking structure or lot?.

The high pitched sound in your ears is probably tinnitus or what's called "head noise", it isn't at all uncommon, and the guys who seemed to be looking at you were probably doing so in your imagination, unless of course there was some reason for them to notice you, like you were strangely dressed or you are an attractive woman, or they were gay and thought you were a cutie....

Could be anything, could be nothing...

Or maybe it's the same thing that just happened to me, a bird flew into the house and stood there looking at me......Really, this happens to me every so often, like 2 or 3 times a week, maybe the bird has a camera implanted in it's head or maybe I appear so harmless here at my computer that they feel safe enough to get that close.

Look into "gang stalking" I just recently learned about this, and while I don't feel I'm being watched, what your describing sounds a lot like you're the victim of gang stalking. That is, if there's such a thing. I'm not really sure. But you may want to check it out. Like I said what you're describing sounds a lot like what others have described when it comes to that.

Gohd I hope so!!!

I've put an awful lot of effort to finding ways to causing subtle interference with the plans and designs of TPTB, I'd like to think that they know enough about it to at least laugh at me...

I'd like to think that they at least "half blow a gasket" in a fit of laughter after watching one of my video messages or read some of my posts.

Why bother thinking anyone is monitoring you?

Don't we have more than enough evidence at this point to know they are monitoring everybody?

Of course it's not like there's a van marked Flowers By Irene sitting outside your home.

Think of it like spam. There isnt some guy out there typing in your email address and writing up some poorly worded message and clicking the send button. It's all automated and mostly haphazard.

The monitoring works the same way.

Agent Smith isnt sitting with headphones on listening to your conversations but your conversations are being recorded and stored along with petabytes of other data.

So while Agent Smith might not be listening or watching you rest assured the Matrix is. This much we know.

There is an old conspiracy called "Mr.Computer". Mr.Computer is supposedly an advanced artificial intelligence network that actually scours the data the NSA collects and maps together people's lives. It is alleged it can do things like find out what friends you have, what your habits are, and nearly predict what you are going to do when, what you will say. It aggregates data from all security cameras and digital devices as much as possible. Basically, they don't even need to watch you a massive supercomputer somewhere could be doing all the work for them!

If you consider the recent advances in AI at Google (specifically, the deep neural network that can read captcha's with 99% accuracy) and also the fact the government usually has technology 5 years ahead; I believe the scenario is totally plausible.

Also, that high pitch sound you hear could be a couple things. In some laptops the WIFI card sort of leaks sound. CRT TV's emit a high pitched sound as the image is being scanned onto the screen. Bad wiring and faulty electrical work can cause high pitched sounds, maybe you should have an electrician come through.

Other than that, your just paranoid! But rightfully so... I would say just brush it off and if you see any more coincidences don't stress over them.

Yes, they are monitoring everyone. They admitted 'they' track everyone on the internet including personal emails and I wouldn't be surprised if some are being monitored in real life also.

OP Over Here

Hey listen up, don't waste time with most people on ATS regarding this subject, they haven't a clue.

As a person who IS under surveillance, I am more suited to converse with you.

As a healthy person, no mental issues, no physical issues, no history of drug use, not even pot, no alcohol abuse history or present.

This is just to point out that I am not "crazy" and you are welcome to read my posting history if you want to know more about me.

STEP 1
You have to ask yourself if you are sane, you have to ask yourself if you have onset of Schizophrenia or some other disease, if you are on drugs, or if you drink, I urge you to quite that behavior and addiction immediately.

STEP 2

Get yourself cheap small spy cameras, that record to flash cards or to PC (but then you have to keep PC on). And make sure you buy 2 of them, if you are a cheap person and think that you can go with only one, you are not taking this seriously. Place the 2 separate cameras taping inside of the doorway, hallway facing the front door etc.

STEP 3

Cameras have to be ON when you are going out, even for 5 min store, and when you are sleeping, yup, they actually do enter in when people sleep, sorry to spook you with that info, but would you rather not know.

STEP 4

You won't actually be able to catch them on camera, WHAT YOU WILL BE ABLE is to see when two separate cameras suddenly decide to delete the file for that day or hour in question. What they do, is they literally erase the footage of coming in and going out.

But that is how you will know they were there.

Want DETAILS ?? Google exactly.

I whole-heartedly believe you.

Several years ago, I ws running and posting a VERY controversial blog on conspiracies, etc. I was getting about 2000 unique hits a day on it. After about a year or so of running said site, I began to notice the things you mentioned. (I've since taken the site down, out of fear for myself, and family).
The real give-away was: I noticed a car parked on the street directly below my livingroom window. I jokingly told my wife that I thought we were being watched.
On several occasions, I went to look at the car. The windows were tinted so darkly, that I couldn't see in ANY of them.
After THREE weeks, I finally phoned the city, to ask them about it. I was told that the car could legally be parked there from March 31st, until November 15th (so as not to interefere with snow removal). This was the middle of July, so there was nothing they could do about it. About three hours after I got off the phone, the 'mystery car' was gone.

So, with that being said, I have zero doubt that you are being watched. Also, there are lots of people out there being monitored, and doni't know it, or choose to willfully ignore it.

Be careful!

I have had a similar experience, but I guess I asked for it to happen.
There was an occupied car standing right next to my house for 4 full weeks straight. They guy never seemed to leave the car, everytime I went by (obviously everyday several times) he would be sitting at the driver seat reading newspaper or typing on his phone. He never established eye contact with me, even though I was always starring inside his car when I went by. I found that to be highly unusual of course, I was absolutely sure he was watching/waiting for someone... that someone might have been me, but I'm still not absolutely positive about that. At the time I was downloading a bunch of military manuals from various sites, mostly to learn about survival techniques and close combat lessons from diverse special forces units. All of them were declassified and several decades old.
Well, one late night I decided to watch this guy from a well hidden place in my garden to see if this might be something to report to the police, at that time it was already going on for 3 weeks (I didn't have the balls to go up to his car and ask him). To reach this place I needed to go out the backdoor leading up to another street, where surprisingly there was a second occupied car I haven't noticed before... in the middle of the night if I might add. I scratched my previous plan and decided to see if the second individual would still be there the following day... and... he was. This went on for another week and both cars were gone, not to be seen anymore.
Really unnerving situation, still have trouble to make sense of it all... what sane agency or police department would dedicate so much time to observe someone?!... that's one costly operation if you ask me. I wish I actually confronted the two guys, but you never know who you are dealing with.

I know I am in the data base.

I had an incident after Googling some information right after the Gulf oil disaster.

They raced up behind me on the interstate and slowed to my speed and tandemly paced me. I saw the driver in a black suit behind me. I was on my way to Holiday World water park.

They were just letting me know they were watching me. As soon as I slowed my speed from 70 to 65 the driver in the black suit picked up his phone and nodded, they both swerved over to the shoulder, together in tandem, and sat there.

Don't Google any disaster, militia websites, and accidently click on an Islamic Jihad site all on one sitting. Red flag city.

Not to be crazy but noticing some people turning up a lot around me as of late, whom I never seen, then magically turn up on holiday and spot them in a crowd.

Many of the posts here remind me of some of the well documented files of those who have escaped to the west from the former Soviet Union. The KGB was a very paranoid agency that would go after any stream of information regarding individuals. They would see the most trivial activities (i.e. photography, friends meeting in a park, etc.) as suspicious. And of course, they used agents to monitor conversations in restaurants, bars and other public places, to determine any existential threat to the status-quo of policy, just as the NSA and the New York City police Department does. As the US does now, the Soviets also justified their psychopathic infiltration under the auspices of preemptive security.

Two days ago I was at the Police Academy taking certified crime prevention course. One of the officers who gave a presentation on security surveillance, mentioned firstly that one should assume he is being watched every where he goes. I've been under surveillance since 2004. Making contact with new acquaintances overseas in that year, I received an unknown call in which Hebrew letters flashed across my screen, after which my cell phone immediately turned off and would never work again

This is about a deeply entrenched (Orwellian) ideological paradigm shift that suppresses anyone who does not accept the neoconservative political status-quo.

Oh hell yeah, I've experienced all kinds of weird stuff.

The question about being watched... Well, no doubt we all are. But in this day and age its largely computerized. If some one with the right clearance wants to find out what I said in some phone conversation months ago, they can probably go in the database and pull it out. But without reason they don't pull it out of the database. So its there, but it doesn't mean its being watched by a human.

But as far as people seeming to talk about you, you have to think about the probability of that, and also the way that perception psychologically effects you. Are you doing something really interesting? Than maybe people are talking about you. Are you not? Then maybe some people don't have a clue, but they want you to think they're talking about you just in case. The good advice is to smile at people, and don't worry.

Sounds like a yes to me, I would arm myself with a hot round in the chamber always. And listen and record, and have a back up. At least 2 maybe 3 cam's and any other devices I could get my hands on. Write it all down in triplicate in a notebook, and b weary of your surroundings where ever you go. Take a self defense course, if you don't feel confident, in your prior training. Be prepared for anything, they could be watching your neighbor, but at least you got some good training out of the deal.....Who Knows.........Be Safe

That is, if there's such a thing. I'm not really sure. But you may want to check it out. Like I said what you're describing sounds a lot like what others have described when it comes to that.

Gang stalking victims often suffer from delusions, up to 70% in fact.

"Web sites that amplify reports of mind control and group stalking" are "an extreme community that may encourage delusional thinking" and represent "a dark side of social networking. They may reinforce the troubled thinking of the mentally ill and impede treatment.

If you feel like you are a victim of gangstalking you should get a psychological evaluation immediately. It's very useful anyway because it's the only way to get the police to take your claim seriously (with a certificate proving you don't have paranoia) because they have other things to do that to take claim from paranoid people.

I know I'm being monitored, at least by Google, and I don't care.

I have nothing to hide.

Either it's tinnitus, either it's possible brain problems and you should consult immediately.

In any case, it's not psychotronic weapons and if you believed so you should consult too.

I haven't experienced this specifically, but I did feel like calls were being monitored for a time. We were in Florida, and this was shortly after 9/11, when the government was talking about flying around and randomly listening in to houses, to see if they picked anything up. Helicopters weren't uncommon, even at night. Well, I would call my brother, usually late since we are both might owls, and we'd talk about all sorts of unusual topics; stuff that would fit right in to this site. After a while, it got to where the calls would drop, when we discussed certain topics. Nothing government-related, either, or political, but stuff like Bigfoot. This became too commonplace, in the timing, to be coincidental. After many days of this, we were both frustrated, and decided to do something. We'd start calls with him rattling off a list of "key words" for listening programs, then I would state, to the open line, "If you want to listen in, fine; we don't care. Just don't make the call drop, ok?" Every time we did this, we would hear little sounds now and then, but the calls stopped dropping.

The other thing is in an old thread of mine, about "white trucks". Weird situation, that one! You can read the details here - Men in...White Trucks??? - if interested.

In America, I figure that almost everyone is monitored to at least some extent.

Some people are monitored more than others.

If someone in a position of power believes you have any sort of connection to certain paranormal phenomena... you will NEVER be alone again.

And Their doing a Piss Poor Job Doing It! Just take a look at last weekends shooting and ask yourself What Happened? Had all the info needed to consider this guy Could be a Problem. No. Their looking for Mr. Terror and thats all.

Theirs pros and cons and most complain about being spied, copied, and recorded for later use. See then now and then, big deal. Not going postal, wanting to Rule the world, and doing what I can before my feet give out again!

Although I do think I even have my own Eye In The Sky lol. Wasting money if one asks me, yet it could just be the person next door or down the street that has me even questioning. It's the Perfect Ones you need to Watch for!

They Are Watching and more likely the ones Out to get You!
