I'm having issues with my policy...so I feel the pain for these folks.
And, one of my many calls to ACA...the "facilitator" told me there's lots of people with lots of glitches/issues.
We just don't hear about them.
I too temporarily lost my subsidy.
I have it back, but I am still arguing with my insurer as to the starting date.
They say it started a month before it actually did. And they won't do anything without confirmation from ACA.
You call ACA and tell your story....they say it will take up to 30 days...and you never hear back from them.
This has been going on since the beginning of March.
Between the huge government bureaucracy...and the huge insurance bureaucracy...it is impossible to get anything done in anything approaching and
efficient manner.
At ACA...you can never talk to a supervisor.
At the insurer....it seem different departments cannot talk to each other....and they rarely if ever get back to you either.
And, every-time you call you get different information.
Every month I hope it is fixed.
And every month it is either not fixed....or its a new issue.
