I was a member here under the name of Dawn of truth back in 99/00 i believe I was in the first 200 members. it was a small but great community and almost no trolls. This was back when Simon first started the site before springer and skeptic overlord joined the crew. I loved it then and now. After having to leave the site/internet for about a rear or so and after the events of 9/11 I came back and stayed a lurker until around 05 when I rejoined as my current screen name Anathema777. this site has changed in so many ways. some for the better some not but I am still a 100% supporter of ATS, it's core beliefs and most importantly the members that put their heart and souls into there threads and struggles to find the truths of this world we all share and just want to understand. Im not gonna go on a rant but it sickens me those in power that would shield us from the truth and do some of the most terrible things to keep themselves in power and to keep their secrets a secret. I mean it breaks my heart at the injustice of it and sickens me. so bravo ATS and those of you who selflessly seek the truth no matter the risk no matter the obstacles I salute you who would stand up to tyranny and Deny Ignorance no matter the cost. I love you all and this site. let's just all hope the Light pencils over those who would keep us in the Dark!

Congrats regardless

ATS taught me about having a thicker skin.
It also helped me to realize that even my own gloom and doom was purely a personal revelation, and not something global, which I have seen many other members learn over the years, although some are still learning.

I could go on and on about the things I have learned from this place and it's members, almost all of it good!

It also made one of the top 5 most responded to threads in the general chit chat, of all time on ATS.
Something I still smile over because it was all good!
