Anyhow, what movie scene that came to my mind when I made that comment was from Independence Day when all the UFO fanatics were on that roof top partying that the aliens were finally here, and all of a sudden *POOF* a beam came out of the space ship and they were all toast!

I thought you just recently won the lottery ?? If so , you have the ability to prepare for your family and many others of your choosing . I would agree we're heading non-stop towards a major conflict....so quit complaining about it and try your best to put yourself in a position to survive. I'd be buying property and building a self sufficient oasis for those I think best suited to endure the coming hardships.

I am in the middle of nowhere in Montana. Every one near by has stockpiles of food and ammo. First place I ever lived where it is weird if you aren't a prepper. I think I am pretty safe. If it gets bad, I'll sneak into Canada.
