Then why are there Russian troops in the streets there? And why did you wish us "good night" at 16.00 GMT?

You can learn about "invasion" here:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

The "The Crimean “Occupendum” illegal " propaganda-machine was silenced with this (for a while).

Euronews showed some Eastern-Ukrainian women in news just now stating: "We want our referendum. We don't want to join Russia, we want independence, but not want to be controlled by the western junta. 80% of our taxes go to western Ukraine... They could not wait for the legal referendum, we will not wait with ours.

Constitutionally 2015, then changed to 2014 by the Yanukovich's agreement signed with polish, french, german Ashton-employees and junta-members and "lived" only for two hours.

Next Euronews pictures was shown with comments and without sound: "We don't know if the tank is pro-russian or pro-ukrainian..." Decide it yourself:

Russia is the aggressor? Is it Tiananmen Square? No, its Ukraine, and ukrainian brave/stupid women.

Good night indeed!

Search the internet for "Englishman", "UK", "BBC", "Time zone" first.

Secondly search for a map of Earth, you stated you are from there, try to find on it Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Czech Republic, Poland.

You will be surprised.

First to wish good night to English men.

Second: the countries involved in officially unofficial mission in spreading democracy and the topic is about them.

Again, listing every military move by every other government as though it's some kind of excuse for Putin does not change the fact that Russia has invaded another country.

So are you saying that our previous violations of international law are irrelevant?
On what legal basis do you criticise Russia's actions then?

Either the laws apply, or they don't.
If they do, Russia is guilty of breaking them... as are we.
If they don't, we're innocent... as is Russia, because if they don't, then all that remains is the right of the strong.

What is it?

I can only answer for myself: we should have impeached George W. Bush, removed him from office and sent him to the Hague. Russia should do the same with Putin.

You were right; I would have been very surprised if the sun were setting at four in the afternoon there. The United States has not made any secret of officially aiding NGOs.

Exactly.

That was my point all along...
Of course WE want to argue from a standpoint of legal and moral integrity, and our leaders are pretending they do too, alas they've lost their credibility.

Putin is nothing but an ugly mirror for them, and now they can shout at him all they want...

Was about to leave work on a Friday evening, with no chance of logging back on as would be out

Saying good night seemed fitting then to be able to type don't forget to check under your bed

Reds under your bed ring a bell? Well hope they don't as that would give you anti Russians a heart attack

The anti Russians hate the Persians at about the same level, and that's all related to the American embassy situation there so many years ago-they never forget

Yet the warmongering soap box politicians expect every one to forget their Modern past

You know very well that any breach of international law should be punished. I believe the same thing about the use of force against Iraq, Afghanistan and everywhere else. I have believed for a long time that both Bush and Blair should be charged. I also believe that Obama should be charged for using drones.

Now pay attention to this part - I am not the head of international law and I cannot have these men arrested. None of this changes the fact that Russia has invaded Crimea and is acting in E Ukraine, building up troops on the border and threatening the security of other nations.

All you are doing is repeating the same nonsense, as if the actions of other countries are an excuse for what Russia is doing. You are the one suggesting that because others have invaded other countries before, then Russia should be excused.

None of this makes any sense to a rational person. And if we go by your belief in this, the USA has every right to invade Russia in the future because Russia invaded Ukraine, and it was possible because America invaded Iraq, and that was okay because the Romans invaded Britain...

Listen to what you are saying and really think about this. Stop trying to distract and deflect the debate with nonsense and really pay attention to what you are typing. You are suggesting that because another country did something before then it's okay for Russia to do it now.

I agree, and I've said so plenty of times on this subject.

This still does not change the reality we have right now, with Russia invading Ukraine and destabilizing the region. No matter how much I might loathe the actions of the US and UK previously, and no matter how much I distrust our discredited governments, nothing changes the fact that this is Russia invading and threatening another country.

To put it in the most simple terms, two wrongs do not make a right.

If you think that is my position, then you completely misunderstood me.
I'M not saying Russia's actions in Ukraine should be "excused" - NO meddling in Ukraine should be!
I've been saying since day 1: the only lasting solution for Ukraine MUST be exactly that: a solution for UKRAINE.
NOT for western interests, and NOT for russian interests either ... for the UKRAINIAN people, and for ALL OF THEM.

Please stop trying to make me look pro-russian. I'm not!

Of course this is madness! I thought we already agreed on this in another thread!
Preventing this kind of madness was the reason to implement the legal framework we call international law in the first place! I would very much like to see international law respected again, by everyone.

And I've already told you, I'M not the one arguing like that, I'm just pointing out why OTHER NATIONS argue like that now!
Because disregard for international law not only WAS western modus operandi for decades, IT STILL IS!
It's not like this is centuries ago. As you've said yourself: IT IS STILL GOING ON. RIGHT. NOW.
I ask you, why would anyone expect Putin (of all people) to play by the rules?

To make this very clear:
My point is that our leaders cannot convince anyone by diplomatic appeal to respect the souvereignty and territorial integrity of nations anymore, because they've lost all credibility in that area!
The very same politicians that some people here now suggest we should gather behind again, although they are nowhere near admitting their own wrongdoings!
I will not eat up their propaganda and just support their position, so that they can interpret this as my approval to their actions and just "kerry" on with their agenda.

I've seen this game played before: provide an outside enemy and gather public support.
I'm not playing.

Or did you think the infowar is aimed to convince a former KGB-agent?

Now that is just rude. Please show me exactly what of my point of view you consider as nonesense.
