Looking at that reminded me of the "Streak Eagle" records set in the 70's with a bare unpainted F-15A aircraft. Makes me wonder if they shouldn't try it again with an F-15EX in a couple of years and see if they can beat the record. A nice new pair of GE-F110-129's would help that nicely. Actually I'm wondering why the USAF didn't specify the -132 version as fitted to Bahrain's Block 60 Vipers. The -132 actually chews less fuel at full AB.

Senior Airman Mathieu Cyrus, an F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team avionics specialist got a ride in an F-16D with one of the Viper Demo Team pilots. They went supersonic, low level, and hit 9Gs, and he crushed it.

funny watching his eye lids, he hit that 9G turn very well and even looked like his head movement was voluntary(not graying out)

There's a particular video of a BAe-146 nearly hitting a ridge outside Tucson during a retardant drop circulating in certain circles. Several other videos out there of various LAT's and VLAT's flying the slot canyons.
