Can I duplicate a video file?, page 1

OK, I'm sure this is a stupid question, but here goes. I have an video file I am working with and I would like to have a backup of it in case I mess up. Is there any way I can make an exact copy of it?

right click and say copy on the file name or thumbnail.. Then right click in a folder or desktop and say paste.

That's on windows.

Anything digital can be copied.

Right click..."Copy to" another File,Drive or Folder.

Hahahaha, WOW! I am so embarrassed I did not think of the easiest solution. For some reason I figured that would not work for video files. Well, glad it won't take any effort to do it. Thanks you two

sometimes...sometimes...if you rt click something and it wont let you...it may have a rights issue to that file. But not on work youre originating. ie: music files, writings, video clips or home movies....etc

Or drag the file with the right mouse button and when you let go choose copy from the popup.
